If they punish Conte with anything, it would be ridiculous. Match fixing is almost never on the part of the coach, nearly always the direct responsibility of the Directors of the club and of course acted by certain players. Just google "coach match fixing": only Conte's name comes up with the recent news.
From the looks of it, they are trying to figure out if he "knew about it", which is a $#@! reason to actually punish someone for. It is Italy for god's sake. If merely knowing that something wrong happened and not acting on it counts as an offence, then the whole of the Italian government from top to bottom is to be thrown in jail and Berlusconi?

But in the end it just shows how clueless FIGC is about this all. You don't stop a leak by merely cleaning the wet mess under it. Why don't they pursue their full efforts against those who actually start this match fixing $#@!? But then again, it is Italy.
