I will say this.

It's a damn good thing we have Mandzu and Zaza around. Could you imagine if our other strikers aside from Dybala were of less quality, and Morata was struggling like this, where this team would be right now?

we wouldnt be Juve if we gave up on a player so easily. especially one that scored 3 goals in 3 games vs Real and Barca, in CL semifinal and final last season. give the guy some time, im sure he will find his form again.

agree with King of Kings, its also great to have Mandzukic and Zaza at a time like this when your (supposedly) no.1 CF is out of form. Zaza is brilliant when he comes in off the bench and Mandzukic provides that experience, workrate and goalscoring upfront with Dybala. once Morata is back to his best, our attack will look fantastic, better than last seasons for sure

You guys are so harsh on him! Yes, he's still without a goal, but his overall game was good last night. He moved constantly creating space for Zaza and got several players from Lazio booked. His movement off the ball is getting better recently compared to the start of the season.

Watch him after he breaks his goal-drought. Hopefully soon.

I mean, is that whole sequence where he fell down not a *perfect* microcosm of Morata?

He deftly flicks the ball over the defenders head, turns and beats him with pace, he fights him off with good strength for the last few yards. Then he inexplicably just falls down instead of shooting.
It's the easy option, isn't it? He does go down far too much. Maybe he'd have gotten that if he was playing for Real Madrid, there was a bit of a shirt pull, but strikers who try to win penalties when they have a chance to score are very low on confidence.

I think perhaps we were a little spoiled with Morata last season, he was a rough diamond and came in and excelled, feeding off Tevez, no one knew his game. Defenders tend to wise up very quickly in Italy. Now he's expected to do some of that work instead, as Mandzukic does, rather than be just a foil for Tevez. Dybala stands out instead. Maybe we can't have all four strikers firing at a time, they often need consistent games, not all can make an impact in short bursts like Zaza seems to be able to.

He's the right age to come back from this, we aren't reliant on him right now so he has to just keep working.

Even though he lacks the technical skills to create numerical advantage, his positioning is between the lines with zaza playing as a prima punta.

Triangulation's with pogba - sandro - morata work well but when morata gets isolated in 1v3 or 1v2 situation in tight spaces he struggles to accelerate and create any kind of space for himself.

It's amazing how people could change their mind so easily? Would you really want cash him? Please, could someone find another 23-year striker with his skill and his experience? 2 final UCL in a row and scoring in one.

Pogba and Alvaro were trying to do too much at the beginnings and I understand why, they suddenly went from Pirlo, Vidal, Tevez, Pogba and Marchisio to Padoin, Hernanes, Lemina and Sturaro. Paul was struggling a lot but fortunately he got over this really soon. In the case of Alvaro, he also was struggling with that situation plus he was a little out of shape so he got so stuck so bad that we are already in the second row and he still is out of his mind.

I feel so relax cuz thank god juve is a team, you can see how everyone is looking the best of everyone plus Max knows how to handle the tempos really good so Morata is gonna be back and I´m positive about it. My only worry is that I´m not so sure if he's gonna be recover for the matches against BM.

His current role where he is either playing deepish or wide-ish mean that the chances he is getting are all pretty hard and not ideal for someone low on confidence.

Could do with getting to play as a more limited, more orthodox centre-forward to see if he might get an easier chance or two to break his goalless run.

he is offtheballing and roaming too much. He is doing it well, but at the exoense of his goals and helping his friends :D
