Llorente DOES NOT have more skill. Dude.
Hard to say. :p

He sure looked like he did at Bilbao. And even at times in his first year here. You're probably right.

Regardless, in Serie A, forwards of that type need to impose themselves upon games physically to have an impact. And Morata isn't doing it anymore. It's sad to watch.

I mean, is that whole sequence where he fell down not a *perfect* microcosm of Morata?

He deftly flicks the ball over the defenders head, turns and beats him with pace, he fights him off with good strength for the last few yards. Then he inexplicably just falls down instead of shooting.

80% of that run will have you fapping over Morata and then you see the last part and change the channel.

As you said, that has been him in a nutshell this season.

It wouldn't be so depressing if we hadn't seen so much better from him in the past.

A few months ago @Hustini and I had a little discussion cause I thought he wasn't giving the kid proper time to re find his form before going all judgemental on him.

But man oh man, he really needs to do something badly, to look alive. The kid's like a walking corpse and a soft one at that. Show some balls, some grinta, some heart.

Under all that frustration and bitterness, maybe. My guess is Vidal got drunk, raped the kid, we sold the drunk rapist, the kid is damaged and here we are.
somethings very wrong with him, and his attitude and lack of guts and will is starting to become annoying. i wonder if he is suffering from something similar to what higuain used to. maybe coming from a huge club like madrid, meens they struggle to motivate themselfs for the small sides, and actually put in the work in training and matches. higuain was reborn after beeing told he was to lazy to become the best, maybe he needs something like that...

Honestly. One good goal is all its gonna take IMO. I imagine when he does finally get that goal the team is going to jump all over him in celebration.

Hope you're right, it's sad to see him like this.
I hate seeing it. This kid is obviously talented, and he's still young.

It would be one thing if he had never played for a big club before coming here, but Ancellotti showed enough faith in him to bring him on as a substitute in a CL final for Real Madrid.

This is all mental for him right now.
