Very impressive display from Egypt, even is Ivory Coast were poor.

Well organised at the back and clinical going forward.

And the keeper did well, he is the best I've seen in the tournament.

Egypt has always managed to amaze me with their form in African Cup comparing to how bad they play normaly in WC qualifications.

What is your opinion Bisco?
thats true to a large extent, its a shame we have'nt been to the world cup since 1990(18 years) !!! i like to think of egypt as the juventus that wins seria A yet finds it hard in the final steps of wining the champions league. ( 7 finals 2 wins)

for some reason we always fail in qualifiers to the world cup and end up putting our chances of qualification in the hands of other teams.with that said i think if egypt plays the same way they do in the african nations cup we have every chance in booking our tickets to south africa but its alot of hard work and alot of planing but i have faith in this team more than any other previous team. not to mention people here want this more than anything else.
