Hoho, henry - 0-1. I bet at least 90% of the Portugese, Italian and german population are rooting for France right now.

Any fool who knows a little bit about football can see it's clearly coincidental. We played like shit when he wasn't there creating almost no chances from good passing play. In the first match and against Paraguay Zlatan was involved in six chances like that. Today there was none. The two...

England you were robbed. We played like shit. But you didn't win now did ya?

    What are you grinnin about?
  5. World Cup Lounge

We're playing like shit. Wost 30 minutes we've played sofar, i'm not surprised though. The last 45 minutes of the Paraguay match when Zlatan wasn't playing we also played like shit. It's clear without Zlatan as a target man our attackers aren't getting any balls through, they haven't even had a...

If they had a young "Maradona" type player without connections i'm sure they would let him play anyway.

Zlatan strained his thigh or something during the first ten minutes, that's why his shot was so bad. he had some nice combinations though, especially with Larsson the first ten minutes. Concidering he played injured he wasn't that bad. We as a team played just like Zlatan, not that bad. But...

Well deserved win for England, A football match is 90 minutes not 45 and not 70. If you can't run for a full ninety minutes you don't deserve to win. T&T did a great performance again though and they walk out of this tourney with their heads held up high.

Crouch just missed while being totally alone with the keeper, he tried a volley when he should of just chested it down and put it in the back of the net. Directly after the English supporters started shouting Rooney! Rooney! Rooney!:D
  11. World Cup Lounge

Hehe, Manure:D I dunno, with the talent they have i can only see them improving, with or without Zlatan. Especially Rossi will help them out a great deal, i bet he will make the World Cup squad for Italy in 2010. Remember who told you first.

I'd rather see him in Real Madrid but if he has to go to England i hope he goes to United. They already have the biggest talents in the world, Rooney, Ronaldo, Rossi and i hear they're after Moura too.
  13. World Cup Lounge

Sounds about right, allthough i would give Ribery one more chance seeing as he has massive talents and was one of the few players that actually ran without the ball. The French are a little too old maybe?

That people on this forum have serious etiquette problems, even the mods.;)

Alexander Frei tried to do a "hand of God".
  16. World Cup Lounge

Giuly i can understand because he hasn't played that much in Barca but Trezeguet? How can you not play him? He should play Trez in the middle and Henry and Ribery on the sides.
  17. World Cup Lounge

It's not just you, the french look nervous if you ask me. Last ten minutes have been better though, Ribery is very active but not very effecient...sofar.
  18. World Cup Lounge

Did that swiss guy just wink at me? LOL
  19. World Cup Lounge

Oh shit look at that, Ribery is starting! For those of you that haven't seen much of the french league your gonna be in for quite a threat. Imo he's the most unpredictable winger in the world and could very well become one of the greats.

You should be extatic if you get a draw. God knows no one else in the gruop will.
