Why? I'm sure you would still bring up Torres' deal even if it was under a different management. :D

Really? Really? i'm not going to reply to that. The worst transfer was Eto'o + cash for Ibra. :D

Diego, Melo, Amauri, Poulsen instead of Xabi. :D You're in no position to talk about failed transfers either.

Now we're going in circles. :D I need to sleep anyway.

He had a pretty good goalscoring ratio per appereance the last season he played for Liverpool (not counting his last half season there). Lets put it this way, would you rather sign Tevez for say 22m or Borrielo for 0.5m? And let's say Tevez chokes, would you regret having taken that risk...

I said risk not chance, which I always thought was pretty high (I was always against his signing and spoke about it in this very forum), turns out i'm the only one who learned from the Shevchenko experience. Buut, it's not my money. :D

Is it? I'd rather take a risk on a player capable of world class performances than signing a mediocre one. Sure, he backfired. Shit happens, but the point stands. :P

I still can't believe you guys signed friggin' Borrielo. :D

Not surprised, he's a metal musician. He looks like an actor from some B rated detective movie.

Pep IS a coach and he did NOT invent 4-3-3, he also succeded with Barcelona B and while I agree that he's had the best players in the bussiness you still need to be a competent coach in order for the team to succeed. 2007-2008 Barcelona comes to mind, all amazing players but chocked hard...

Wasn't he badly injured? Surely no club would buy a player with such a bad injury in january. Edit: Ah, I thought you were referring to last season's january, he might aswell be sold this month too, should a solid offer arrive.

Because unlike Quag Matri is actually capable of playing the prima punta role in a 4-3-3 which Quag won't provide, and as Alen pointed out Quag is also unable to play (at least in a desired level) as a winger in a 4-3-3- So basically you have a realistically good player but don't have any...

Matri won't go, and If you're to keep Merdello then Quagdgdgf will surely go. He also would command a higher transfer fee that what Juve would pay for Borrielo so i'm guessing that's marotta's line of thinking towards signing/keeping Borrielo.

If you have the idea of firing your coach in the back of your mind then why support him in the first place? Surely if there's such a lack of confidence is pretty obvious that you should sort your coach out before any transfers.

    Marco Borriello

Couldn't Matri do that job though? Isn't he a typical front man? Where the hell is Borrielo supposed to play anyway? He's not really good at anything.

    Yeah, then just use Toni.
