I know this is starting to get repetitive, but: prove it.

Half of "Christians" who say they believe in god don't really believe anyway, don't even go to church. I bet it's much the same in other religions. It's considered "normal' to say that you believe in god, that doesn't mean people actually do.
In the Bible Belt perhaps, where it is important to be seen as a believer. Not in the Benelux though. If people say they believe over here, they really do believe. As for other Christian parts in the world, I do think that christianity is still strong in parts of Africa and Latin America.

There's a logical reason for that.

That is was "cobalt."

And since cobalt was "discovered" in 1737 (it was used by Egyptians and in 1737 a scientist isolated the element.) and mentioned in the Koran it proved "God's" existence.

But that's not what they ask them. They announce that so and so many people are Christians. Clearly, they're not polling 1 billion Christians to see if they believe in god despite calling themselves Christians. They just look at membership figures attributed by religious organizations, almost certain to be inflated.

Heck, I wonder if my old Catholic church would still count me as a member despite not going there for over a decade. It's not like I formally quit on paper. And failing that I'm still member of the State Church, all Norwegian citizens are. Which again I didn't bother to explicitly leave cause it makes absolutely no difference in my life.

Failing even that, people remain affiliated with a church through social obligations. The spouse is a believer, or their parents are orthodox or whatever. So they show up and go through the motions because it's less hassle than quitting.

This is how religious adherents are counted and I would much rather see the results of a "do you believe in god" poll. "christianity is still strong" doesn't actually mean people believe in god.

you said it yourself, so the word in Quraan could be Copper. And your argument is dead already.
Because u said so!!!!
You are critizising Quran

Just lets get back to the first point
U don't beleive in God
you said that seceral times
Don't u think that if you don't beleive in him and his existance then you must have an answer for all the Q

If it not God then who or what is it?

Just tell me what do u think

And one more thing
You have something romantic with Turk, you always agree with him :D

what about this? what Il Re posted already.

Surah 9 verse 29

"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the last day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by allah and his messenger, nor acknowledge the religeon of truth, from among the people of the book, until they pay the jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."\

There are many suras or whatever they are called in Quran that are so wrong, I have seen some of them that were enough for me to judge the religion, I might say it is much worse than Bible. You guys keep saying there are a lot of wrong things in bible, I disagree with you here, I am talking about the new testament, it is much peaceful and much better philosophically than Quraan.

No one should get offended from what I said now, I am just comparing the two, and I don't support any of them in any way..
How many times did you read Quran and its interpretations before you reached that conclusion?

its obvious that you don't know anything about Quran
and i don't know how r we going to have a good productive argument here in this situation

Just take it as an advice from me
Don't talk about something you barely know its name only?

I am done here

I just said it was interesting, didn't mean you would want to convert :D

I can't find anything on this. Do you have a source by any chance?

Well, Bacteria is mentioned in the Qu'ran (don't know about Cobalt). Even if Hippocrates did discover Bacteria it's still amazing that an illiterate man from the most backward part of Arabia just happened to know about it. It wasn't like Prophet Muhammad could have google'd it.
Hm. Not quite impossible to be fair, just takes a bit of reasoning.

But could you say that, because there's one thing right in the Qu'uran, that all others are as well? Because that's quite interesting. Let me clarify with an example:

- I say Del Piero converted a penalty against Napoli.
- I say the Qu'uran blows.

So what now?

FFS you just believe in Allah and keep quiet. I wouldn't want you to doubt your faith, because your head would explode. You're not intelligent enough to doubt things without problems, so please, please stay far away from anyone or anything that questions the Qu'uran.
