Turk is right though that nothing in the Qur'an was proven to be 100% wrong, without any doubts left.
But it takes one concentrated reading of the Qur'an to find some irregularities, or some things that seem iregular at first glance. I'm sure these questions have been asked and answered, and even if doubts were left after the answers, still nobody managed to prove that some thing in the Qur'an is completely wrong. (which is much easier to do with the Bible).
But what i mind a little is how all the muslims behave like the courtiers in "The emperor's new clothes" when they talk about the Qur'an, and as Turk said, most of them also don't know the answers.

I haven't really explored this yet, but shooting from the hip I would say we don't even realize what the justification is for many of our beliefs.

what i want to know is why in the quraan sometimes ideas seem to contradict each other, i get annoyed that quotes are misinterpreted and sometimes some of the bad quotes you hear in the media are not even real, i always check them with my copy, but some i foudn were, on one hand the quraan tells us to be peaceful, kind, and to love our neighbours etc yet there are verses such as these
Surah 9 verse 29
"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the last day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by allah and his messenger, nor acknowledge the religeon of truth, from among the people of the book, until they pay the jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."
i mean, it comes to interpretation right? does or doesn't this verse in effect say fight non-muslims?
i asked a knowledgablet muslim in regard to this verse and his answer was "this was directed at the people of the prophets time who had to defend themselves"
i was very unsatisfied by his answer, it just says fight, it doesn't say defend.....
anyone able to enlighten me?

The language of the Quran is the Arabic as you know
When we talk about the miracles in Quran then we are talking about different types of them
The scientific is one of them
but in that Sura the miracle is not a scientific one but its the language
The literary disablement
That time, the Arabs were known to be a very Eloquent in the language, the Arabic one of course
and also they were known to be a very Eloquent poets
they have accused Prophet Mohammed of being just an extraordinary poet and what he is saying is not but words of a poet
This sura consists of 3 Ayats
قال تعالى:
انا اعطيناك الكوثر
فصلي لربك وانحر
ان شانئك هو الابتر
and without the need of knowing the Arabic language you can see that the three ayas ended with the same letter and this is one of the most important thing in arabic poems
This sura sounds like a poem but its not because Arabic poems that time were known to be consisted of 2,4,6,8..... divisions
but in this sura its only 3 divisions so it can not be considered as a poem
this is one thing
second interesting thing about this sura is the number of the letters in each ayah
counting the number of the letters in each one and the repeated ones to be counted once only is like this:
ا- ن- ع- ط- ي- ك- ل- و- ث- ر
ف- ص- ل- ر- ب- ك- و- ا- ن- ح
ا- ن- ش- ك- هـ- و- ل- ب- ت- ر
So we have 10 letters in each ayah
and the number of the letters used only once in this sura is 10 as well
ع- ط- ي- ث- ف- ص- ح- ش- هـ- ت

There are many suras or whatever they are called in Quran that are so wrong, I have seen some of them that were enough for me to judge the religion, I might say it is much worse than Bible. You guys keep saying there are a lot of wrong things in bible, I disagree with you here, I am talking about the new testament, it is much peaceful and much better philosophically than Quraan.
No one should get offended from what I said now, I am just comparing the two, and I don't support any of them in any way..

There are many suras or whatever they are called in Quran that are so wrong, I have seen some of them that were enough for me to judge the religion, I might say it is much worse than Bible.
