It follows the life of the guy who created Seinfeld. Genius comic mind in creating, but the show is about following his life and his real life friends, and man does it suck balls. Obnoxious crap.

This was greatness, loved every character and episode.

Indeed, The Coupling is absolutely brilliant. Its sooo superior to a similar show like Friends its not even funny. Characters like Jeff and the like are priceless.

Who does it get animosity from? Every time I have heard it being mentionned, it has been praised. Its a really great sitcom.

It must have been highly acclaimed otherwise the yanks wouldnt have tried to make their own crappy copy like they did with the office. But unlike the Office, their coupling version is god awful.

I disagree, I think the yank version was good. Not as good, but still good.

Oh and I'll never understand why people laugh at The Office.

The Office is amusing but not really funny. The office might get a smile or two out of me, but a show like "Family Guy" is some really funny shit. I can barely stop laughing when watching the family guy.

It ran for one season, right? No, I think it was good and lacking a little bit of that self deprecating type of attitude that the Brit version had naturally, but it did the job quite well for me.

It's such a strange premise. Based on we-refuse-to-do-any-work. I mean it doesn't really have a plot, it's almost completely static. And it doesn't have any jokes either, just we'll-show-you-awkward-situations-and-hope-you-find-it-funny. Creative laziness you might call it. And if that had been funny, well why not. I just really don't see anything amusing in it.
