I dont necessarily disagree, but its not bad perse. Juve_Revolution described it well.

Its somewhat quirky amusing (Steve Carrell and Ricky Gervais are funny), but not really ha ha funny, because they dont have clear cut jokes as you said, more of a situational comedy, even if the sitautions arent that appealing.

I didnt recognize that guy.

The circus was cool.I havent seen a lot of it,but the much ive seen was excellent.

The Flying Circus is great.

'The Life of Brian' is probably my comedy film.

Ive heard some of the albums though,on a plane.It had something about a fish.Thats when i first found out about Monty Python.

Dead Parrot and Cheese Shop come to mind. Best known at least. I also loved the Argumentation Clinic (don't remember the name, the one with Michael Palin and Cleess arguing for money) and Hilter.

Great sketch Martin.Loved the part where he shoots the guy for attacking him with the Banana

I hadnt seen it before.

These guys really had a rare talent.Loud comedy can so easily becoming cheesy and irritating,but they kept it on the right side of that line.

Why, if I may ask....

I might be cheating since she wasn't my favorite until I watched the movie but now she is my fave. I like her because she has this blind optimism that I just find fascinating so Charlotte it is for me. I'm going on personality. I just love her personality. I kinda wish I could have such blind optimism and trust the world but I am the complete opposite which is why I enjoy her character so much. Plus she reminds me of my best friend.
