I doubt they would use the same arguments JR is using. I think that if you do believe in God, the only thing you can say is that it's not a rational question. You don't know the principle behind it all, you just think there's some sort of guiding force in the universe and you don't take any sort of practical knowledge from that idea.
Yeah, exactly. I find it very strange these people who want to "prove" to you that they can give a logical argument about their faith. It's faith right, there is no need for logic.

A thing can never evolve out of nothing/nullity. Science can never contradict that not now and not in a billion year from now.
    Of course it can.

Even if you believe in God you have to accept that.

It's a mere question of waiting. And since in the event of there being nothing time does not exist, something is bound to come up ;).

This is being ignorant. How do you know that? Million years? If we would live million years as a civilization, then probably we would be god to everyone around us, could create worlds and such. Billion years, havent you watched how did we progress technologicaly for the pas 50 years? and you throw a billion in here...

You are clearly contradicting yourself by claiming you can never prove God doesn't exist yet you are 100% he doesn't.

    How is that?
Yes, and I'm doing that on purpose. I stand by what I said that god doesn't exist. But if you insist on saying that it's impossible to prove the absence of god then I can just as well say it's impossible to prove the absence of Superman.

But dont you agree that mankind didnt had the tools back then and with time our tools will only improve our chances of knowing what really happened?

Could you honestly answer me this question - with time passing every other mith being denied, dont you think that chances are stacking up on science side more then on religious one?
Why it has always to be Science Vs Religion is beyond me.

It's really cool when the theoreticians get busy with their calculators and come up with new theories :D I'm going to CERN in the summer but unfortunately the LHC is not open for visits :(
Bummer, visiting LHC would be sooooooo cool:agree:

Sorry to disappoint you but that's a very very poor excuse.
Excuse? You must have misunderstood me, i dont seek excuses here. And im not on a crusade against religion with science on my back, i just said that science explains things that were thought of inexplanible nature.

So why exactly we can never deny Superman while we can easily deny God?
Because superman supposebly lives on another planet which we cant reach, and by sheer numbers of planets out there, it is very improbable to deny superman. While god is everywhere, and yet he doesnt sit next to me when i write this, therefore he doesnt exist.
