Absolutely, and good for those societies, but i feel we have gone a bit too far down that rabbit hole.

The program is just a business idea i am toying with. It's basically financial planning for an early semi retirement abroad. We analyze the current situation, offer a few options and work on getting the client there. Of course we also take care of all the hassles of moving abroad be it the legal/admin aspect home or away, so the move is as painless as possible.

But IT is very much a thankless job at times and too many folks from the "business" look for "gotcha" moments when we're just here trying to solve problems. I'm sure it's the same everywhere though.

That's the stoic approach, but that's not for everyone. The point of my idea is arbitrage, you can get a much better product and much cheaper itd be stupid not to go for it.

But on the point of semi-ascetic acceptance of all states no matter what and deriving "pleasure" and happiness from the inside is a whole different conversation.
