It's time bullshit jobs are destroyed imo. Let's just give everyone a basic income and try to enjoy life.

Instead of having everyone work two days of meaningful work, we try to make people work crazy 60 hour workweeks doing jobs that mean nothing, add nothing to and in all likelihood actually detract from our society.

But most of the world wants meaningless crap. What do you think most people spend their money on to salve the pains of boredom and the knowledge of their eventual death? People don't go to kitchen stores and buy melon scoop & ballers because they're meaningful. A car gets you from point A to B. People aren't spending big cash on luxury and sports cars because they're that much more meaningful.

Depends on the paycheck and level of commitment. Ive been involved in a couple of situations where I had to negotiate between workers and management and I was pretty good at it.

I once had a female subordinate who in the middle of a critical meeting bust out crying and going "i miss my baby", then go all passive aggressive taunting her bosses "maybe you should do my job too whole you're at it". Got fired the next day.

This "employment" is the best job opportunity i've come across since i've kept track of them since June. This girl is works for the consultancy firm wich selects and places engineers at their clients. The better she's convinced of me, the bigger my chances she lands me an interview with the client and the better their presumptions would be.

It went well, she liked my profile alot, i got along with her aswel (always helps), she pressed to have me for an interview at the client this week, and i kept it in my pants while doing that.
