Ever tried golfing when the ground is frozen solid?

Did it on Sunday.

Challenging.
I haven't personally but can certainly imagine it being challenging.

Did you get any favorable bounces and rolls on your long shots? What about the greens (were they even green?)

I played in 40 degree weather where every shot hurt my hands but the price on the round was dirt cheap on a course we really wanted to play so I guess it was worth it...

Greens were mostly white.

If you hit a good dive it'd go bouncing along for miles, but it was just a case of hit and hope when trying to get the ball to stop on the green.

It's time bullshit jobs are destroyed imo. Let's just give everyone a basic income and try to enjoy life.

Instead of having everyone work two days of meaningful work, we try to make people work crazy 60 hour workweeks doing jobs that mean nothing, add nothing to and in all likelihood actually detract from our society.

If your mind has to deal with bullshit all day, you will be stressed out. The mind does not tolerate bullshit well.
True dat. So much needless issues (besides the actual stressful workload) and childish BS with whats supposed to be grown ups at work. The amount bizzare drama female employees in particular can create is insane lol.

I once had a female subordinate who in the middle of a critical meeting bust out crying and going "i miss my baby", then go all passive aggressive taunting her bosses "maybe you should do my job too whole you're at it". Got fired the next day.

How about no more unemployment fee, but a standard living fee of 800 euro for everyone. So you can do the job you want for extra money

A lot of women like drama. I'm not saying all do. I'm not saying it's biological. Perhaps society makes women like drama. I don't know. I'm not pointing any fingers. But in my humble experience, a lot of women live for drama. And a lot of men don't.

It's Finland.

But I'm a big fan. And mostly because it's just fair. If I work hard, I deserve to get paid accordingly. I do see some issues though. For instance, do you still have generalized healthcare? Because if not, I'd rather have generalized healthcare to be honest. But if it's feasible.. yes, give everyone a standard paycheck of 800 Euros, I'm all for it.

Phrased like that I'm sure it would cost millions in the States.

I know you're joking, but I see this reaction a lot and I don't get it. Basic income is capitalist in nature. It's not aimed at people who don't work. It's aimed at everyone. In fact Finland wants to introduce it as a stimulus for people to find jobs. And an extra 800 Euros would make you able to spend more too.

It's not your opinion it's a mere fact they are inclined to indulge (mastered the art of prolonging conflicts), not all obviously but alot .

Had to sit through phone meeting of this BS between two of them today, trying to mediate. You think it was a serious HR but such petty and vicious high school BS between adults was true wtf.

Even the more innocent party was wtf immature. The other one will be fired tomorrow, incredibly long streak of creating conflict instead of working.

It would be funny if women weren't capable of incredible cruelty. Much more so than men in my experience.

That also an obvious observation, as I said they prolong conflicts for years and backstabbing each other over nothing, even sisters and best friends.

Also worst thing you can witness is a true angry fight between chicks, they truly wtf get primal. Claws out to do true damage, not knock out.

I wonder what could explain this behaviour. Obviously it's not universal. I've seen men behave like this and I know women who would never be this immature. But on the whole I think it's fairly obvious that women do pull this shit more often.

oddly enough, a friend of mine who also restarted studies and is now an IT consultant and developper for SAS, and works a truckload of houres while making alot of money thinks exactly the same as you.
Its an excellent idea. People are alot more productive for jobs they actually want, and this allows them to do just that, rather then take something cause they had to.
The healthcare thing is very important tho. A new argument. Hopefully it would work out with both.

A huge issue will arise in who is eglible for this. I'm thinking immigration then, because you just know the right extremist will bore down on that.

Big fan here aswel

They get away with it "in a mans world". When its female against female, they come in a situation where both are used to not having to back down. So it gets cruel.

Its accepted if a girl gives a slap if she's moody. Reslap with similar force and you'll be arrested

Some English girl run into me and asked for some cash cause she lost her wallet.

But let me fill you in (she didn't give me pussy, no). It was a long day at work and I was tired as hell. I went to the bank to pick up my card (which was there for 15 days but I couldn't find time to get it earlier). So the lady that was working there told me how I can't use it for the next 24h. So I was like 'oh, fine, but gimme some cash while I'm here'. She said she'll do it, just to finish my papers first. So there was I, outside, realizing she didn't give me any cash. Bank was also closed when I came outside so I couldn't go back. So that English girl appeared and asked me for some money (she was not hot, just decent but also older lol) and there was I penniless. I had like a couple of euros in my wallet and ended up giving her half of it pretty much, a bit less. So I kept going, tired, I went for a walk til the next bus station so I can go home. Bus came, I entered -- I entered the wrong buss. Yes, a wrong one.

So now here I am, home, without money, hungry and stressed out.
