I don't think 4-2-3-1 is right for us. Imo the best formation for this Italy team is 4-3-1-2 with Gattuso, Pirlo and De Rossi making up the trio in midfield, Milan style.

To be honest I think Italy are best with a back three

Our team maybe isn't the best with individuals but we have the fighthing spirit. We are like Messina and Grecce. That's the was a natoional team should look like, not like Italy, where everyone is underachiving

That's another option. Oddo and Zambrotta could operate as attacking wing backs with Gattuso and De Rossi/Pirlo in the centre. Totti would be behind the two forwards so when defending it would be a 5-2-1-2, when attacking a 3-4-1-2.

We beat great team in important matches by our spirit, and italy played good today but our midlfield was better and defence was solid. We were better becaouse our spirit, and with that spirit we can beat everyone except Brasil. And we can beat England :LOL: on any day.
