Not at all. 2010 was the worst ever and by a long shot. Robinho, Kaká, Grafite, Luis Fabiano, Nilmar, Michel Bastos, Juan, Luisão... That was pure shit.
I've seen multiple news outlets showing their "didn't make it" Starting XI for Brazil after Big Phil's WC picks, and all of them had Robinho in there while they said, "Oooh, ahhh, boy would England love to have that squad."

i see Germany winning against Ghana and the US and drawing with Portugal. Portugal may draw or win hard against the US, Ghana to win against US so it will be the Ghana/Portugal match to decide the 2nd place. if they can stop Ronaldo, they have a good chance of winning
Germany's defense is rather vulnerable, and both Portugal and Ghana have an abundance of pace. Germany are most definitely the favorites in that group, but there might be a shock result or two.
I don't think their backline has much depth or quality, even when compared to the USA NT (which says a lot) and Tim Howard is a better keeper than any of the Ghana NT keepers.

Like I said, it's really all opinion based until the game is played but I'll bite.
None of those players you mentioned are on the backline or goaltenders and that was my point. I don't think their backline has much depth or quality. And most of the Ghana NT is coming into the WC after playing full seasons while a large part of the USA NT is MLS and not coming off full seasons. Playing matches in the tropics where fitness plays such an important role, I think the USA NT is more fit and therefore better suited for a full 90 minutes against an underwhelming Ghana backline and goaltender.
Boateng has struggled this whole season at Schalke. Waris is beast in France but unproven on the World Cup/international level. I'd take Bradley over Muntari. Ghana is strong at striker without a doubt but they are only going to start 2 of them. So, while really good at striker and forward, Ghana can't use all of them.
