Of all the people that you can make fun of, it's really weird that Rashford is the object of their rage.
If Rashford wants to take a real stand then he should hang up his boots over this or go play for some side not in the SL. But everyone knows he won't do that. He'll continue collecting his paycheck regardless.

Pep has been the most critical of all the current SL club officials, about this venture (Klopp must gotten the squeze cuz he backed out alot on his statements), but its going under the radar a bit. It was a good interview. I dont get tho why Man City themselves are putting up the interview on their website lol. And why everyone except Perez are quiet about this whole thing amongst the SL head honchos.
Haven't ManCity once posted transfer rumors on their own site? They a weird bunch.

The ones that are quite are the PL teams owned by Americans. They're facing the heaviest backlash out of all 3 nations.

Gazidis obviously is delighted to make the cut lol why wouldn't he.

So you, as a fan of football club, disagree with/make fun of Rashford, for saying that football isnt football, without fans? (quoting Matt Busby for it).
Because it's a vacuous statement that has nothing to do with this, if the fans don't like this they won't watch and they won't spend money on it. This actually is trying to deliver to the fans the best product possible. No one is stopping any fan from following this or that team.

Also Italian clubs are broke. They have no leg to stand on. They don't have a choice. So is Barca.

The real dealbreakers here are the PL clubs. Arguably the most important entity in order to create a 'successful' ESL.

And he knows it? Which is why he is being sympathetic to how the fans are feeling? Where is the issue? or the mock worthy material in this?
The issue is that if you're that against something, then actions speak louder than words. So many pro athletes criticize shit these days, yet nothing changes and then they're still there collecting a paycheck moving onto something else to criticize.

Dat PSG statement on super league.
“We believe that any proposal without the support of UEFA -- an organisation that has been working to progress the interests of European football for nearly 70 years -- does not resolve the issues currently facing the football community, but is instead driven by self-interest.

"Paris Saint-Germain will continue to work with UEFA, the European Club Association and all stakeholders of the football family - based on the principles of good faith, dignity and respect for all."

talking about good faith, dignity, and respect for all, and claiming that UEFA has been working for progress for all. What a bunch of clowns.

Listening to Perez and the rationale behind the formation of the SL.

‘These clubs have lost over a billion in the last couple of years’

These clubs are also the most poorly run, they over pay players, over pay agents, over pay on transfer fees, there not sustainable and they just dick swing to try to out do eachother.

No one made us piss 90m away on higuain and release him for free. No one made us spend 100m on Ronaldo and pay him 1m a week. No one made us spend 40m on Bernardeschi. Douglas Costa. Ramsey. Raiola’s agent fees. Renewing Khedira. Renewing mandzukic and then excluding him. Sacking Allegri. Giving Sarri a big contract and not putting in a break clause. Hiring pirlo.

This fucking club has made some disgraceful financial decisions and now that they’ve realised they are in a black hole and the money is running out they want a get out of jail free card by signing up to a stupid league that every half conscious fan would have no interest in watching. No Agnelli, that’s not how it works. You don’t get a retry, you don’t get a mulligan.

Well the Arab state owned clubs sure did hike the prices in the transfer market.
You know the ones getting preferential treatment from UEFA instead of the boot.

99% of fans will be watching super league if this goes ahead. Don’t kid yourself. But you go right ahead and be the 1% that boycotts over the moral outrage of it all. I’m sure it shall make you sleep better at night. :)

Yeah I remember that, made no sense. They even wrote Koulibaly's name in the reveal for Dias signing, cuz clearly Dias was their 2nd choice (tho he has been amazing for them) and they forgot to edit it out lol. Clearly their site is in the hands of some intern.
