Start ESL with Madrid and Barca as a founding member

Ruin relations with UEFA, club president becomes public enemy number 1

Club gets framed in some absolutely rubbish scandal. UEFA take advantage of it, ban the club from Europe. Club is compromised and has no choice but to accept UEFA's position.

ESL beats UEFA in court but poor old JJ can't even take a stand on this given what has happened in the last 12 months.

Tapiro D'Oro goes to JJ. The biggest loser of this entire fiasco. Clearly a sign of weak leadership at the top.

Javier Tebas: "I will bet you 100 meals in a restaurant that there will never be a Super League."

- - - Updated - - -

Javier Tebas: “I saw the list of clubs that supported Perez and it was only one club (Barça). The Super League will be a double championship between Barcelona and Real Madrid.”

Guise, I know why Jj hasn't announced anything.

Bc they aren't in a capacity to be qualified for either competition.

Pls discuss. I'll hang up and listen.

The net worth of the Super League is €100 Billion and investors are ready to shell out €15 Billion.

The investors will keep 15% and the rest will go to the clubs. Barcelona and Real Madrid will also get a resistance bonus for never leaving it.

That's fine, we'll get ours once we use the shit out of UEFA and FIGC for financial damages, which we will definitely surely do :agree:
stocks stronk. why if we're out of the project? :klin:

I wouldn't take that too seriously on its own.

I must be misinterpreting this verdict.

Doesn't the ruling explicitly say UEFA is still allowed to determine the rules for all new projects?
They even ruled it's not disallowed for UEFA to determine the rules & organise competitions themselves (which was one of the main complaints of the entire case). The ruling only states there should be more transparency & input from the clubs. Which UEFA can claim they've already been doing (since 2021).
Furthermore, the court ruled that governing bodies such as UEFA or FIFA are important & essentially a good thing.

I'm afraid people who think UEFA were dealt a blow by this verdict are missing the point.
Never mind the fact that, besides Real & Barcelona, there doesn't even seem to be any interest from the clubs anymore.

In short: a superleague is not going to happen any time soon.

I dont think it is accurate what you are saying. Official document attached. ECJ clearly rules that Uefa & Fifa have abused dominant positions.
