Rockets deal Brad Miller, #23, 2013 MEM pick, $ for Jonny Flynn, Motiejunas, 2012 2nd round pick.
Don't you think if Flyn was this good not a bust they be reluctant to deal him, they would've gotten much better package than a late first rounder next year., Ricky rubio is not proven in the NBA ,he wouldn't start right away and like i said Flynn is being shoped form houston right away because he's know to be nothing but a bust. Watch and see ;)

Report: Yao Retires From NBA
Jul 08, 2011 2:41 PM EDT

Yao Ming, one of the seminal figures in the globalization of the NBA, has decided to retire after eight injury-plagued seasons with the Houston Rockets, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Yao, who missed all but five games of the 2010-11 season, hasn’t been able to fully recover from a tendon strain in his left leg. The veteran center informed the Rockets, the league office in New York, and NBA China of his decision to leave the game within the past 48 hours, sources said.

Too bad Yao retired, but not really surprising.

What surprised me was Deron Williams signing for Besiktas and his prediction that there could be an exodus of NBA players to international leagues. I don't remember any player doing that during the 1998 lockout.

The money wasn't there back then. It wasn't worth it for them. Remember, for the longest time, the only NBA players who would ever think of going overseas to play pro ball were players that were well past their prime, or never even got a sniff of the NBA.

That is why Bob Mcadoo and Jellybean Bryant are legends in Italy

I wonder how much the Rockets have insured in Yao. Not that it matters now.
It doesn't matter, he was going to be a free agent anyway.

and it's not about the money for the players, Deron is going to be paid 200.000 dollars a month, that's hardly nothin compared to the multi million dollar deal he got in the NBA.
it doesn't look very good right now, there's a possibility that there's no NBA next season, with the league making huge losses and the owners of the small market are fed up with the players. We can only hope that they can find an agreement soon enough even if it does look unlikely.
