Perhaps thats because the link was provided by Rebel ;) Had it been provided by someone closer to your political views (do they still exist:p:p), Noam would probably be a Nobel prize winner by now ;)
don't give yourself too much credit with your assumptions, Rami...

and me so little respect

truth be told, I dont care if it was Nick or Sergio giving me that link, I'd still have the same opinion

Did I even bring up Nick or Sergio?

When I first saw your reply to Rebel saying that you wouldn't listen to a "nut job", I thought Rebel has done it again and posted a link of a real "nut job" on Al-Jazeerah talking out of his ass...

and too my astonishment, it was Noam! I just can't believe that anyone could dismiss this guy in such a rash way! Noam's view at least deserve discussion...

I didn't mean any disrespect, I was just giving you a jab ;)

I am using Nick and Sergio as an example of 2 guys who are closer to my political views (and also who I would consider friends on the forum), to show that it wouldnt matter to me if they agreed with the guy...I personally dont

My opinions vary about every subject...just because I am considered a conservative when it comes to politics, it doesnt necessarily mean I view everything the way that they do

now about Noam or Norm or whatever his name is, I heard enough in 2 minutes of the subject he was talking about to believe that he is off...thats just my opinion

As I already said before, I am neutral when it comes to this situation (Israeli- Palestinian)...I want to see a conclusion that will satisfy all parties (how improbable that may be), and see the least amount of people killed

As far as Rebel goes, I dont dislike him...I think he's got some good football comments, and a true love for Juve...

I have a hard time agreeing with some of his political views, and tbh, some of his moral ones as well

I just cant see any good in teaching young children to hate, and that dying for a cause will see you rewarded in heaven (especially now that I have a little one, who I would GLADLY give my life for so that she could be spared any pain), or that blowing yourself up along with a bus full of innocent people will further your cause...

maybe I'm the mental retard...I dont know

I watched the first two minutes plus of Noam's interview, and even though Rebel did not disprove what I stated, I must say I did not find anything wrong with what he said. His reports on the series of events back in the summer of 2006 are correct, so there is really no reason to castigate him for what he has said. It just goes to show what a bunch of idiots all of the involved entities are... the IDF, Hezbollah, Hamas and such will never be capable of finding a solution for the problems at hand. They are all too biased, from people such as Olmert to Rebel, to ever come to peace. We have known this for years, so to think that a possible solution to this is absolutely ridiculous.

The US supports Israel because they have supported them since the Holocaust; the rest of the Arab world supports Palestine because of their religilous views. Put two and two together and you have a shitstorm that will never be resolved. The most likely scenario for the future that I see is Israel and Hezbollah and Iran continuing to fight each other, which will eventually cause an escalating regional war which will also involve entities in Iraq. The US will not step down with their relations towards Israel, Iran will continue to enhance their nuclear capabilities, Hamas and Israel will always be fighting amongst one another, and Hezbollah will always have a stranglehold over Lebanon. Such a scenario equals outbreak of war and more violence.

This is why I wish my government would just withdraw support of Israel, but this will not happen because of the petroleum situation in the Middle East. Every single entity involved with this problem, from Hezbollah to Israel and the US, is to blame here. Rebel thinks our side is the only group to blame, but that is a bunch of nonsense. Everybody is to blame because the violence continues and nobody really wants a just solution to the problems in the Middle East... nobody. So the only real solution is absolute obliteration of the region, which could be a possibility in the future. Good job you idiotic lot.

Hey, I'm blowing up myself and 20 children in a bus but I'm a freedom fighter. Kind of thing. Freedom means a world free of Jews, preferably also free of Christians, free of all other heretics and perhaps free of Sunni/Shia too depends on your point of view. That's what you really mean by freedom fighting.
they rarely killed children, unlike the zionist/israeli army(y did u type children n not ppl??)

Azzurri7, after reading some of your posts here, I perceived that you are well versed the Middle East politics especially what is happening in Lebanon. I know a lot about the circumstances here, I live nearly inside it. That's why, I think that you are a little bit harsh in your judgment on Hezballah.

Where do you live?

And where do you think I'm being harsh on Hezbollah?

First before I give my comment, I really wish everyone would keep this thread clean.

About this link that Jack posted, It really didn't surprise me at all, as I've always said and I repeat again, Hezbolla fanatics/supporters are no where to be called "Lebanese". These people do have one man that think and talk on their behalf, and his name is Hassan Nasrallah.

Bremerts Investigation will be released after 13days from now. So I expect Pro Hezzbollah supporters and all pro syria to turn the country upside down before 17th December(the day bremerts will name the ppl behind Hariri's assasination).

Thats what I expected, Hezbollah and Syria trying to put the country upside down. And thats what's happening. Nasrallah was very close to commit a civil war in Lebanon.

Lets see next round, how close he'll be.

they rarely killed children, unlike ...
actually they target children especially, it's their preference. See for examples:

http://info.jpost.com/C001/Supplements/Disco/ - disco (which you'd notice btw quote - "Hizbullah was one of the first to announce the murderous incident on its Manar television station, with broadcasting also heaping praise on the "holy martyr" who blew himself up with such deadly effect")
http://www.answers.com/topic/ma-alot-massacre - children's school
http://www.answers.com/topic/sbarro-restaurant-massacre - pizzeria
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shalhevet_Pass - baby by sniper
http://www.israelnewsagency.com/israelpalestineterrorism127691.html - family car, woman, 4 children, and the woman was pregnant too.
http://www.commondreams.org/headlines02/1113-04.htm - shooting of a mother and her two sons from close range.
and of course, Nasrallah's reason for starting the war apparently: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samir_Kuntar - blasted girl's brains out on a stone.
