I watched the first two minutes plus of Noam's interview, and even though Rebel did not disprove what I stated, I must say I did not find anything wrong with what he said. His reports on the series of events back in the summer of 2006 are correct, so there is really no reason to castigate him for what he has said. It just goes to show what a bunch of idiots all of the involved entities are... the IDF, Hezbollah, Hamas and such will never be capable of finding a solution for the problems at hand. They are all too biased, from people such as Olmert to Rebel, to ever come to peace. We have known this for years, so to think that a possible solution to this is absolutely ridiculous.
The US supports Israel because they have supported them since the Holocaust; the rest of the Arab world supports Palestine because of their religilous views. Put two and two together and you have a shitstorm that will never be resolved. The most likely scenario for the future that I see is Israel and Hezbollah and Iran continuing to fight each other, which will eventually cause an escalating regional war which will also involve entities in Iraq. The US will not step down with their relations towards Israel, Iran will continue to enhance their nuclear capabilities, Hamas and Israel will always be fighting amongst one another, and Hezbollah will always have a stranglehold over Lebanon. Such a scenario equals outbreak of war and more violence.
This is why I wish my government would just withdraw support of Israel, but this will not happen because of the petroleum situation in the Middle East. Every single entity involved with this problem, from Hezbollah to Israel and the US, is to blame here. Rebel thinks our side is the only group to blame, but that is a bunch of nonsense. Everybody is to blame because the violence continues and nobody really wants a just solution to the problems in the Middle East... nobody. So the only real solution is absolute obliteration of the region, which could be a possibility in the future. Good job you idiotic lot.
