I don't really think it matters. Gallas would just be a short term player anyway. He's been from club to club so it doesn't really matter.
oh it matters, and greatly.

Juve's biggest strength at the moment is chemistry, and gallas is just too much of a liability when it comes to that.

and btw i have always been a big fan and wanted him here for some years but hes just a cancer

He's a cancer just after his comments?

I mean, sheesh. If a captain can't speak out and tell the truth, then what's the point of a captain as it is.

Gallas wasn't a cancer when Chelsea were winning the league.

This has been long coming. Gallas was asking for this ever since he became captain. His continuous moaning and whining has done nobody any good.

I have two problems with this however.
1) If Gallas leaves, I'm pretty sure Arsene wont buy a replacement
2) We dont have any captain figures at Arsenal anyway. So installing a new captain isnt going to make that much of a difference anyway.

Gallas does deserve the captaincy to be stripped of him after his recent outburst. He's always been a bit of a cunt.

The way he's playing this season. His heart doesnt seem into it, he isnt getting stuck in like he used to. He wouldnt make a good captain at all imo.

oh yes he was he threw a tantrum and didnt want to play for them anymore, moreover none of the arsenal fans wanted him to be a captain in the first place

If Arsenal doesn't want a captain who can criticize the team, we'll take him off their hands. Gallas would form a good central pairing with Chiellini for about three years or play backup to Legrottaglie if we stick with the current regime. Lets make a move for him in January.. hopefully he'll want out after this nonsense.
I wanted to write this same thing here but i was afraid of Fred's reaction. :D
Gallas was a starter for the World cup finalists and he is younger than Legrottaglie. He is a champion. Great and experienced defender. We'll add quality to the team and it will be foolish not to take the chance if he wants out.
