The way he's playing this season. His heart doesnt seem into it, he isnt getting stuck in like he used to. He wouldnt make a good captain at all imo.
I see. And people keep saying that Arsenal is small for him. He will leave Arsenal to Barca sooner or later.

And how about Toure?

As for the topic, I don't know why, but I don't like the player. It's his attitude maybe. But he sure will add quality to our squad.

Do you really think he would be willing to come to Juve to be a squad player??
If Juve somehow get him, then he'll be signed as a star. He'll be a big signing. Legrottaglie is doing great but both him and Gallas will know that the Frenchman will be the starter. Only if Gallas won't play well, Legro will take his place.
Not fair to Legro, but that's life.

Gallas would just be a short term player anyway.
And maybe not.
We bought Thuram when he was 30 and we bought Cannavaro when he was 31. Thuram served us well for 5 years and if not for Calciopoli Cannavaro would have probably played his 5th season with Juve today.
Quality central defenders can last long.

I am not saying there isnt a chance he wont redeem himself with us, and we do lack quality that even a washed up player like him would do us good (and he would come cheap), but seriously, some of you really need to watch Arsenal weekly if you are so welcoming.

He isnt just a childish egoistic idiot, that doesnt matter as much (unless things ago against him...), but REALLY has been shocking defensively.

When I watch EPL, Arsenal is the only team I watch every week (bro is a gooner), and yeah, the disastrous defending he is largely involved in would be an eye opener for some of you who arent so updated to the kind of quality he brings nowadays.

No. Because-

- he's a cunt.
- Legro and Chiello are an amazing partnership and the bench surely won't suffice for Lil Willy.
- use them big ass wages for some young, hot defender, rather than this 30 year old who keeps bitching, and from what I hear he is far from world class these days.

I think someone mentioned it in this thread, and I agree. Juve may not always have the most talented players or the biggest names in our squad, but one of the important factors in our winning ways is that our teams are made up of players that respect teamwork, respect the shirt and repect one another.

Think about what separates us from teams like inter made up of better players, but are mostly mercenaries, cunts, assholes, primadonnas, all selfish. Figo, Zlatan, Materazzi, Vieira, etc. The way Gallas left Chelsea and his immature attitude at Arsenal, even as captain makes me not want to see him in a Juve shirt.

He would make the best captain out of the given options. But i personally do not think he should even start for us, let alone be captain.

If Juve somehow get him, then he'll be signed as a star. He'll be a big signing. Legrottaglie is doing great but both him and Gallas will know that the Frenchman will be the starter. Only if Gallas won't play well, Legro will take his place.

But both Cannavaro and Thuram had an excellent reading of the game, whereas Gallas relies on his athleticism and pace mostly. I dont think he will last long enough.

And i do agree with Osman about Gallas's performances, he's had some great games( Man Utd comes to mind) but for every good game he's had a bad game, he has been terribly inconsistent and was responsible for a lot of the goals we have conceded this season.

That being said, he's still easily the best centerback we have, but then again, that says more about the mediocrity of our defenders.

get zapata...he could be someone that will be a future rock for a long time to come. talk about a hell of partnership with chiellini. Gallas, no thanks...maybe backup w/ legro. young classy defenders are hard to find these days.

gallas would be amazing, people forget that he can play anywhere on the back line even if his favoured position is as a right back. And if we look closely at the whole situation Gallas only started to play badly when he became the captain - it was a terrible decision at the time and gallas clearly couldnt handle the pressure or responsibility that the armband brought with it.

We dont want gallas as a bloody captain, we've got one, and he's the best captain in the world, all gallas would need to concentrate on is defending - something he did at chelsea and something he did damn well. Add to that the fact that Ranieri discovered him and nurtered him into being the player he is today there is no one around who is a better man manager of Gallas.

I think we would be stupid not to compete for his signature in January and I'd love to see him here

I'd mind having Him in Juventus , as i recall , he had an excellent career in Chelsea and actually he wasn't that bad in Arsenal , but the responsibility as Big Team Captain does matter , you need an high IQ and EQ to resist pressure and giving Motivation simultaneously .

Offer him a lower Salary than what he gets from Arsenal , due his current status , He's just a Filth in Arsenal.

If Arsenal was a small team , even Baiocco could even make their captain Perfectly :p
