Anyway, it's not a fairy tale, it's the exact opposite. To me the fairytale would be the ability to live life freely. If I was an atheist like you, I would really be enjoying life. I'd have sex non stop and always be drunk and on drugs. I wouldn't care about people's feelings and I wouldn't care about anything in general. After all, nothing matters, so why bother? I could do whatever the hell I want and have the perfect life.

What are you talking about? Unless you live by yourself in the desert there is always someone to judge you. Even if you can convince me that you don't care if you have any friends and you don't care if your family tells you to go to hell, you still can't act in complete freedom, because the police will put you in jail. And noone wants to live their whole life in jail. Therefore, you can't just do anything at all.

Why do you fear living freely? Why do you surrender yourself to religion so easily? Don't you think that since God has not made your purpose on earth so obvious, he probably intends you to find a purpose YOU believe in and not blindly follow what some book says? Since there is no apparent purpose for our existence yet, why do you cling on to false hopes offered by religion?

What do you know for certain about the "afterlife" that you believe in religion so much? Do you know any specific details? Do you know on what exact basis does God throw you into heaven or hell? Do you know what acts he considers a sin and which ones he consider otherwise?

All of this is included in the Holy Book(s) which you refuse to read or acknowledge.

Yes it does. You are free to do what you please. But your knowledge about what's good and bad for you and the choices you makes based on your personality and character is what you need to base your life on. If your mind and your intentions are truly evil, then so be it. But doing good just to please an unforeseeable judge in useless. You're only fooling yourself.

Maybe. But still you have the right to experience this whenever you want. You might not constantly do it, but occasionaly you do, when you need/want to.

You can't really occasionally experience a life style IMO. You can occasionally experience aspects of it, experiment, but theres a reason its called a "lifestyle".

But what you've just said is exactly my point. I have the right to experience it, so I do sometimes. Doesn't mean I would enjoy living it as a lifestyle just because I don't believe in any real morality.
