What made me think that Del neri wants to play with 4-2-3-1 instead of 4-4-2 is Marotta insist in buying Krasic though he bought Pepe n Martinez and that initiate a Q,Why Marotta want to buy to many offensive Midfielders ?
Ans: because Del Neri wants to play with a formation that need many offensive players as starters as well backubs, and that is 4-2-3-1.This formation demands 3 offensive players as well as 3 backubs.

Now,i think that Del Neri want Krasic to play him in the right and shift Martinez to the left as he can also play there, all what i want now is Marotta fails in signing Krasic (and that what seem to happen) and Seba get a chance on the left.

For Pepe, some would ask about him.Acually i don't think we bought him to play him as a starter.

Usually in Italy when a club get a player on loan it means that they don't have that much trust on him or they just want to try him or maybe they like him but they are not sure about his success.

I think if Del Neri trusted 100% Pepe,Marotta would have bought him, especially when his price is not that much expensive.
Camo came on loan initially ;)

Am I crazy or would it be interesting to put Diego on the left and have the attack look like this:

striker
Diego-DelPiero-Camo
Melo-Marchisio

Which formation will be more commonly used in this up coming season?
4-4-2:
Del Piero Amauri
Martinez Diego Marchisio Camoranesi
Grosso Chiellini Legro Motta
Buffon

or the 4-2-3-1

striker
Martinez Diego Camoranesi
Melo Marchisio
Grosso Chiellini Legro Motta

Italics for the players who most likely will be replaced.
And on the 4-2-3-1, who on our current squad can be the solo striker?

I don't think Diego is a very good SS. He is so used to go deep in to the midfield to take up the ball which will make the lone striker too isolated and will be marked so easily.

This is what I have in mind:

---------------------Striker
Martinez (Gio)---------------RW (Pepe)
--------------Diego----- Marchisio
---------------------Melo

Marchisio will be the box to box midfield supporting both attack and defence while Diego will be given a more playmaking role.
The two wings will play a more attacking role than that in the 4411 to support the striker. And we don't need to worry about the "defence problem" of Giovinco he will get more chance in this system.

What do you think?

we are going to play a
4-4-1
---------------------striker-----------------------
------------------diego/alex----------------------

martinez/gio--marchisio-melo/sissoko--RW/pepe

----LB-----chiellini-----bonucci------motta------

its not really all that different to a 4-2-3-1 anyway.

Thanks Salvo.

I really hope we get Krasic at RW. Iaquinta and maybe Amauri can handle the striker's role for another year until we go shopping next summer.

Cam, I think he means "a new player", as in one that we :gsol:haven't:gsol: bought yet.

But that's just my guess.

Buffon

Motta - Boner - Chiellini - Grosso

Pepe - Sissoko - Marchisio - Martinez

Diego

Amauri

That's absolute shit.
