I knew this was coming, and I mentioned it in my previous post. Churches are not like mosques, they don't make that much noise (except Sunday mornings), if it does, do the same exactly, it's your right!
There are churches here, they are old as much as christianity itself. so, muslims show patience with them just because they are not noisy?

If its the noise, then the church bells should be banned too right? But they aren't (afaik). And to ban the noise, they had to put up this very innocent looking poster, did they?
yes ban the bell noise in non-Christian countries if they are annoying, it's your right!

If you want to be a judge or President in Ireland you have to swear a religious oath, I know it's slightly Off-Topic. But that violates freedom of religion under the UDHR and EDHR, The Humanist Association of Ireland are thinking of bringing it to the courts :weee:

Just want to clarify that it is pretty understood that a minaret constructed in a predominantly non-Muslim country will not be used for the call to prayer. There are laws about that in most of those countries as far as I know.

The Swiss have certainly not banned it because of that if you read the various articles on it. They're banning it because they see it as a sign of the spread of Islam as well as the fear of Sharia Law which isn't compatible with Swiss law.

A minaret, whether used for call to prayer or not, is simply an architectural structure part of a mosque. The Swiss passing this law is simply just a sign of the growth of Islamophobia in Europe.

European countries are increasingly making it difficult for Muslim immigrants to integrate into their society. Too many foreigners are taking in without any educational background. They're put into ghettos where they are made to suck on welfare and frankly these are breeding grounds for extremism. It is no wonder a lot of terrorists are young European born Muslim men.

Hate the US all you want but at least they don't take in just anybody. They take in people who contribute. Religious tolerance here for the most part is extremely high so you don't see alienated Muslims who walk around with a grudge and then go join Jihadist terrorist groups overseas.

i am assuming there is a swiss constitution somewhere that declares freedom of religion, maybe they can find someone to take the case to the supreme court.

there are instances where the ignorant majority fucks up, like gay marriage or in this case for example, and the courts should be able to do it right

So now the evil lies in accepting immigrants? Interesting.

Even worse, I've heard Switzerland is banning headscarves on existing minarets. :pado:

Blatter and the Swiss FIFA crew can condemn fans as racist for chanting, "Sei saltelli, muore Balotelli", but this minaret business is perfectly acceptable. :shifty:

DO NOT band the UK in with that, there are some fucking idiots in the country that xenophobic and try and treat Islam with fear, because they do not understand what it is. I am not xenophobic, i do not exclusivley despise Islam, i hate all religions equaly. (with exception to Christianity with which i vehemently wish the utter destruction of as one of my life goals :snoop:)

In the Swiss constitution, the declaration of religious freedom is one number above this law, that INHIBITS muslims religious right. The goverment acknowledged this and said they wont do anything about it. So much for religious freedom.

And I should have clarified this earlier, but MINARETS DO NOT MEAN 100% USE BEING CALL TO PRAYER. Is just a like a church tower, and architectual part of the building, nothing more. Sweden have tons of mosques, and non that use call to prayer. And in the report of this Swiss report, not a single one of them was the call to prayer, because they dont use it. As I said, this racist fucking party went with basic fearmongering in using the most visable part of a mosque to spread hate, the Minaret crime is that it is visible.
