Things can change pretty fast Fred believe me. Real madrid was a joke team just few years ago and now they look solid. Barca were crap under Louis van Gaal and today they're considered the best team in europe. Inter are even worse, they were the biggest joke in europe and now they're the champions of Europe.

Changes always happen but one thing you can't change and that is the history of these clubs. So history "IS" important in football.

I wasn't talking about Arsenal, go back to my post and see the listed teams.

As for what will happen to Arsenal after Wenger, well once the stadium debt is repayed, i expect us to have sizable funds for transfers and things like that. I think we are on the way to becoming a big team.

Yeah, but you see, Juve were many times in situation when they didn't belong among the 5-6 big boys, and yet in some years they got in there, kicking someone else from the big 5.
It was happening in every single decade. It was happening to Juve, Bayern, Inter, Real, Milan, Barca, Liverpool etc.

That's why we KNOW it will happen again and it will happen pretty soon. Maybe 3, maybe 5 years, but we know it will happen.

Our financial situation looks very good, and once our debts are payed, i expect us to have budgets as big as Chelsea, United and co. Even with a new manager, i don't expect we're falling down anytime soon. Like i said above, we're on the way to become a big team, financially we're almost there.

Present and the future are all that matter. What good is it to Nottingham that their team won two European Cups? What good is it to Uruguay that they were once one of the best teams in the world?

Juve are historically a top 5 team, but for me at least, i care very little what Juve did in the 80's, 70's or whatever. Maybe its just me, but like i said, i'd rather be Chelsea than be Juve.

Why should any prior history matter to me to any degree higher than trivia? Hey it would be neat, I suppose, if Stade de Reims reached the CL final again. But they won't, that time is long gone. But even as far as potential juventus is more financially sound and with a younger squad, add on to that the new UEFA restrictions i d rather be an organization with tradition that has winning in its DNA rather than the product of the caprices of a nouveau riche.

If we're talking financially. We are one of the most financially sound teams in Europe, the only snag is the stadium debt, and we're making admirable and better than expected progress there.

Revenue wise, we have been in the top 3-4 teams in Europe in the past couple of years.

Debt is temporary, our debt is not like United's or Chelsea's. The debt we undertook in the past few years was necessary in order to put us in the top teams in Europe financially. Even with our debt, we make a lot more profit than Juve mind you, so imagine what it would be like when our debt is repayed, and like i said, we're making very good progress on that.
