Why would anyone hate Arsenal that much. Kinda flattering actually, as hated teams are normally teams people are jealous of ala United, Barcelona, Real Madrid etc.

Actually at one time we were one of the most hated teams in England, the days of Henry, Pires, Vieira etc. A lot of people hated us then.

Nobody cares about us anymore. :depressed

I hate every English team because of all the exaggerated praise and media attention their league is getting. There are 5-6 good teams in the EPL and the rest wouldn't do well even in Serie B or 2. Bundesliga. Arsenal getting a free ride into the quarter finals of the CL every year (and being hailed a top 8 team in Europe because of that) is what pisses me off a lot.

juve can play in europa for the next 30 years and it would still be a bigger team
History is for the books and for nostalgia, its all about here and now. A Leeds fan can tell a Chelsea fan that Leeds are a bigger club, but look where Leeds are and look were Chelsea are.

You can reminiscence all you want about the good old Juve days. But fact of the matter remains, its all about United, Chelsea, Inter, Barca and Real. Those are the big boys right now.

And what will happen to Arsenal when Arsene wenger leaves them ? Have you seen how crap arsenal used to play before this guy's revolutionary changes ! How can you guys survive without him ?

Things can change pretty fast Fred believe me. Real madrid was a joke team just few years ago and now they look solid. Barca were crap under Louis van Gaal and today they're considered the best team in europe. Inter are even worse, they were the biggest joke in europe and now they're the champions of Europe.

Changes always happen but one thing you can't change and that is the history of these clubs. So history "IS" important in football.

I agree with Fred. It's about the now. History is full of nobodies like Nottingham Forest. Using history as an excuse for suckage is like people wishing themselves back to the times of the British empire. Yeah, it was. Now it's not. It wasn't even in your lifetime.

Yeah, but you see, Juve were many times in situation when they didn't belong among the 5-6 big boys, and yet in some years they got in there, kicking someone else from the big 5.
It was happening in every single decade. It was happening to Juve, Bayern, Inter, Real, Milan, Barca, Liverpool etc.

That's why we KNOW it will happen again and it will happen pretty soon. Maybe 3, maybe 5 years, but we know it will happen.

You on the other hand....:D

you can live in the here and now or you can take life as a whole, past present and future, leeds is a bigger club than chelsea now and that could change in the future, or not as in chelsea losing their benefactor. If it was all about the now like you suggest then no team in the world would have a farm system why waste money on maybes in the future when you can dedicate all your resources to success now, which according to you stops mattering the next day, exercise of futility? And leeds is no juve, juve is a top 5 all time team, sustained success over a 100 years!! comical to even mention the likes of arsenal, chelsea ...
