Financially, Arsenal are much better off than Juve btw.
don change subjects, arsenal is not even in contention, as it lacks success both in the past and in the present, and definitely doesnt have more peotential that juve just look at the 2 teams chances of making it to the CL next year. the comparison was with chelsea that you said you d rather be

Debt is temporary, our debt is not like United's or Chelsea's. The debt we undertook in the past few years was necessary in order to put us in the top teams in Europe financially. Even with our debt, we make a lot more profit than Juve mind you, so imagine what it would be like when our debt is repayed, and like i said, we're making very good progress on that.
Perhaps I'm playing dumb here, I know your debt is not at the extent of United's and Liverpool's. Chelsea are not in debt Abramovic clears all theirs if I remember correctly.

However my point being if the banks decided to reign the loans in Arsenal would be in trouble like every team in debt would be.

Perhaps this goes beyond my intelligence I maybe looking at this to black & white, if so forgive me.

I just don't like to ride everything on some kind of "chosen people" theology, you know? Destined to return and so forth. Yeah, I sort of believe it too, but..
We'll never return to the heights of the old Juventus thats clear, however I thinkwe will return to be competitive in two years time.

I agree with that, but how quickly we bounced back does have a lot to do with the name being Juventus and how powerful the club is. So I mean, history and past does play its role.

Not really, Man United as far as i know are accumulating interest because they're finding a hard time paying their debt. But we're going completely on schedule, so theres absolutely nothing to fear. The only problem with us, is that our financial situation is partly dependent on the assumption that we will be in the CL in the next four years(while paying the debt) and that the fans will continue filling up the stadium. To be honest, with our lack of spending on transfers, and with Tottenham and Man City's rise, i'm not entirely sure either of the two assumptions are guaranteed to be true for the next four years.

who does juve have to beat out to make it to CL? now ask the same question for arsenal
That is true, but despite that, your chances of reaching the CL next season are not more than ours. There is no guarantee that you'll beat the likes of Napoli, Roma, Lazio and co for a spot in the top four. Especially with your form, which barring the last two games is quite poor.

Do you not think the indication of the last two games is showing that our team is gelling and once gelled should be solid enough to get top four?

its too early to comment on form, ours or our opponents, however the disparity in quality of the opponent is clearly making our job a little easier, getting it done is a different story

I don't know, just a feeling I have.

I don't think the quality of players is the same anymore to build such great teams to match our past ones.
Quality of players in general or quality that Juventus can attract? I find it very hard to agree with you that we'll never become a European force again, from next season everything will be in place for us to reach heights if we can make the CL spots this season.

I think that the last two games have shown that you are at least capable of sitting back and soaking pressure, even though your counterattacking hasn't been so good.

Lets see how you do when you play against the smaller teams and your forced to actually go out and attack.

cagliari? juve's problem is consistency they can get it done they just need to be able to grind it out week in week out.
