Pretty unorthodox Liga game. You don't get many matches where efficient tactics and quality defending are prevalent. Simeone did very well to completely neutralize Barca, I'd have liked it if his team tried to counter Barca better, but even Barca were not going all out. Overall both teams cancelled each other out, and neither were prepared to take risks.

One thing is for sure though, Atletico are the real deal.

Very impressive game IMO. Don't know if I ever saw a better one from La Liga, wouldn't mean much though...

Watch some Atletico Madrid and
Athletic Club matches. Those are the best.
