Bolivia is a poor country crippled by banana Republic policies, while America is still the land of opportunity, any person with a minimum of motivation can make it in the US.

That was not the point I was trying to make. Obviously Bolivia is a shithole while the US is not.
If you didn't get it then it's not worth explaining.

Anyway, back on topic.
I find it funny that people hate cops so much. As long as you're not doing anything illegal it's highly unlikely a cop will try to abuse you. And this is coming from someone who lives in the country with the most uneducated and corrupt cops in South America.

They do violate your rights (i.e. get in your car and search for drugs, and apply other illegal procedures). But they do not tend to get physical if you don't do anything stupid.

I think it described really well the dynamics of crime vs authoritarian methods vs civil rights vs market economy vs broken democracies. The problem is not the system, the problem is in men.

Your first answer is preposterous to say the least.
As for your second, i don't think you realize how tough of job it is in general, and in inner cities in particular.
Why would you ask the second question at all if you're rejecting any answer except the one you think is the right answer? I wouldn't shoot Philando Castile, I wouldn't kill Eric Garner, and I wouldn't shoot a man who is running away from me (Walter Scott), and if I knew I would abuse my power like that I'd find a job that wouldn't risk people's lives. But of course you'd say my answer is wrong because I don't realize how tough a job it is but then what's the point of asking the question you ask? Now a better question (I truly want to know the answer) is does a jury member who has to decide on such cases need to have some sort of experience in law enforcement? Because it seems to be a very important criterion to assess the validity of people's opinions in this thread.

The Yakuza and the well established israeli drug, arms-trafficking and prostitution mafias would disagree.
The German model though I agree with. It is a peculiar case as well, since in Germany most crime syndicates and shady business are operated by immigrants or Germans from immigration backgrounds.
