It is quite simple...and I am surprise Ciro hasn't caught this yet. IQ/Amauri together don't work. Not even close.

And the fact that Amauri hasn't scored since last spring, I would like to think that would be a pretty good indicator of what he would bring to the table today.

I am confused. So you think Molinaro and Grygera should have started?:shifty:

The whole point in having Grosso/Zebina is to be able to play the 4312
Grygera and Molinao? Dude there is no one here hates these two clowns more than me :D

What I am saying is if we use two attacking fullbacks, then we have to use RM and LM to cover their spaces they leave behind. Grygera keeps making errors, and Molianro is very bad this year, none of them add anything sadly. If we want to use both Zebina and Grosso, then one of them should always stay behind. If you noticed today, they always caught us with two defenders at back, it was like a circus.

the last goal we scored which was around 250min ago in gametime was a tap in for trez..this team seems hopeless going forward!!!
That's because our strikers suck these days, they are terrible at finishing. Just take a look at the chances they missed the last games..

I gotcha now. Well, when Sissoko is back...the holes will be covered.

Maybe true, but when was the last time any of our strikers had a true 100% chance ?
They would have plenty if they didn't have HEEHAW first touches....:sergio:

I was watching Drogba closely today...I noticed two things of him...one, he is well endowed...and two, his first touch is amazing. It would be nice if at least 1 of our 3 strikers had a first touch.

but compare the chances we get to the chances our opponents get...our strikers are making the most out of what theyre gettin which is absolutely utter shit service form the others around them

The weaknesses was our midfield indeed plus the old ass grosso
:agree: :agree: Especially the latter, who runs around being 'busy' and doing very little. Poulsen and Giorgio had to scurry over to the left to try and defend the left side because Grosso seems to be oblivious to the fact that it's his job to defend the left side.

Unfortunately he is just as unproductive 'in attack' and his crosses suck worse than Moli's. With Grosso playing, the whole of the left flank is both unused in attacking our opponents and is defensively vunerable. Both goals were scored by a player coming in from the left.

I hate to say it, but even Moli is better than him. It's time Ciro woke up to smell the coffee. Moli, DC and Brazzo can all cover the LB position better than Grosso and they can all get back and defend quicker than he can. Also they are all more productive than he is.

Moli for LB instead of Grosso and DC for LM instead of Poulsen. They can work the left flank together and get some crosses over for Amauri to break his duck egg!

srsly iaq and amauri's first touch has become a liability for us going forward!!

drogba is just several classes above them, what a phenomenal player, imo the best striker in the prem

You know what worries me? We have a lot of shit we need to work on and pretty much our entire team is away on international break which leaves us with no time to work on what we need to.

Plus the risk of injuries while on international duty :sergio:

I am not sure about that. It is sad to admit, but Molinaro was good defensively last year, sure he did tons of errors, but he didn't need much of Sissoko's services.. This year, Molinaro is terrible, and so is Grygera (well except one game maybe), remember these two were better fullbacks defensively, now the ones we have, Zebina and Grosso, both don't have any special defensive quality. I don't know how Sissoko will help both of them at the same time, at right side Camoranesi is doing perfectly to cover the right side, but at left, sadly we have no one. So the solution is like I said, we have to use 4 midfielders in front of the 4 defenders so that RM and LM helps the fullbacks, because most of the attacks are coming from the sides and very easily.

I thought Grosso can help us this year, I like him going forward, and I appreciate his crosses, but he is worse than Zebina defensively, and that doesn't help us at all. They should be warned to not going that further in attack, they need to learn covering the sidebacks of our defense too.. I always said that I am not a fan of using fullbacks, unless you have monsters like Maicon ofcourse..

Yeah, which are the players who won't go on international duty?
Diego, Amauri, Trez, Melo, Sissoko, Zebina, Giovinco, De Ceglie.....that's about it, plus some less important players.

The problem that we do depends on crosses in our lastest matches !

Moli instead grosso of course much better ,,DC hard for him to play this position specially if ferrara will change the formation again !

DC needs to be in this spot from the start of the seria A not now

And when you take away the ones that I bolded that leaves us with Diego, Amauri, Trez and Melo to fix our problems? :shifty:

Not to mention everyone else that is injured and I included Sissoko. I bet he will be on his own workout regimen.

I have to admit I am at a complete loss as to what is the best formation for Juve. The 4-3-1-2 seems to be failing and with our current players I have no idea what formation we could make work, I'm so glad I'm not Ferrara right now. This warrants a try

    --------------Buffon

    Zebina--Canna--Chiellini--Grosso

    ---------Marchisio--Melo

    Camoranesi--Diego--Giovinco

    ----------------Amauri

Sissoko to replace Melo when he is fit

I still think when Sissoko comes back we play a 4321 or a 4231....can't hurt to try. Once Dp comes back we can go back to the 4312
