Molinaro - 4
Lost possession too easily I thought. He didn't really look confident in his passes. He was dissapointing today for me, but he is all we have for the time being.

Criscito - 4.5
Average. As most of our defense, he had little to do. Never really got going and made a few bad errors. I hope he improves with age.

Legrottaglie - 4.5
He assisted Trez for his goal but I wasn't too sure on is performance. There was no bother to him but if there was I wouldn't have been convinced he got to the ball cleanly.

Zebina - 4
Who hushed him up? He was like a mouse, nothing like the Zebina I want to see who bombs forward making strong tackles and runs. I like the noisy Jonathan.

I stopped reading that post when I saw these ratings. Our defenders deserve much more than just 4's and 4.5's.

About the incident with Palladino:

I feel Raffaele might have referred to the sudden switch in status here. He might have been a bit cocky and Del Piero reacted. Either way, they're both wrong. Palladino was also walking away as Del Piero took the penalty. Not good.

..

Palermo were just horrible. DP's freek goal, which Nedved won the foul was totally a dive and the PK was dubious too.

We had 8 italians in the starting line-up tonight. You hear that Inter fans? EIGHT italians in the starting line-up.

I don't know what you mean here. None of the fouls were a dive and were right calls from the referee.

I'm sure they're both intelligent enough not to let this become an issue.

Superman had little to do today. One good save, the planet is safe.

First I read it, I thought these ratings are out of 5 :rolleyes2

I'm confident they are, but I don't like things like these. Especially because I'm a big fan of both Del Piero and Palladino.
Anything that can damage the harmony of the team is bad news.

It is more worrying when it is these two because you would want them to work closely together for the sake of Palladino's development.

Good point. It also raises questions about Palladino's mentality. He doesn't exactly like strike me as the most humble football player. Sure, he says what he needs to say in the newspapers, but on the pitch he seems rather cocky. He was having a go at Toni when playing for Italy as well.

Apart from what happened tonight, I noticed that Palladino is the kind of player always asking for the ball. And If he doesn't receive the pass he looks a bit angry.

It wasn't a dive. They've shown this incident in slow motion in Domenica Sportiva. There was a small contact but it was enough Nedved to lose control and to fall. He was running full speed, the defender missed the ball and he kicked Nedved's leg instead. Minor contact but enough for Nedved to lose control. Everybody in the studio completely agreed with ex-ref Tombolini when he said this. It was clear foul

Fine line between confidence and arrogance and it is entirely possible that he has crossed that line, between playing more regularly for Juve and getting his first cap.

iaquinta really should start against milan to tire out those geriatrics, and then let dp come on and do his magic. i hope ranieri realises this.
I would do that.

However it will be very difficult for Ranieri to leave Ale on the bench after his performance tonight.

are you serious?

Our defense was good today. They weren't under pressure but whenever they were they handled it well.

molinaro made a number of good runs. He did give the ball away a few times in the first half but nothing to serious. hell cammo gave the ball away to.

criscito was solid except for one mistake. He gave amuari to much room for an open off balanced header. He made a number of great tackles stopping the palermo attack.

Whenever legro was under pressure he made great plays. He wasn't pressure to much so I don't know what you seen today to make you nervous or unsure of his performance. No one beat him, no was unmarked, he even helped out zebina a couple of times on the right.

Zebina was great today. He made a bunch of great runs going forward. He's a lot better than grygera going forward.

Please tell me how you came up with your ratings?
