Everytime we win by high scoring result like this one vs. palermo most of members think we won because our opponent played bad and not because we played good.
Totally agree. It also seems some so called 'experts' only seem to input when we lose or have a bad game

Palladino Has Learned His Lesson

The Juventus starlet spoke to the media about Sunday’s incident with Alesandro Del Piero and the respect he has for the Juventus captain.

The Old Lady were in scintillating form as they ran rampant and wild over a shell shocked Palermo team on Sunday evening.

The Bianconeri's 5-0 thrashing sent a clear warning shot to the rest of Serie A that they harbor legitimate title aspirations.

The only cause for concern for Juventus came when video cameras showed Alesandro Del Piero admonishing teammate Rafael Palladino after he dramatically railed after failing to receive a pass from Cristian Molinaro.

The young dynamo spoke about the incident on Monday, and of his respect for the Italian legend.

“I consider what happened on the field as a normal situation in football,” he said.

"True, I was a bit irritated but I respect Del Piero because he is our captain and I have no ill feelings towards him.

It just displeases me that the incident was caught by the television cameras as I want to be a professional role model to the young kids.”

TBH, I never liked the fact that many fans thought Pavel was finished. The thing is, when Pavel or Ale don't performe good or aren't in their good shape people start saying they're finished just because of their age. And I find that pathetic and very lame and even immature.

Anyway, I must say we got used to them....But thank god, both of them Ale and Pavel keep proving critics wrong about them.

and I agree, Pavel was MOM by miles.
It's not like DP & Neddy are going to play forever so it's only natural that people like me scrutinise their performance vis a vis their age. To call it immature is a state of denial. To call it pathetic just makes me laugh.

Take It as you want.

To hint and predict that these players are finished is something and to scrutinise their performance is something else.

I'll still call It immature, because I'm not really into these type of fans who think a player is almost done after couple of games, I remember you kept saying how slow Pavel is getting but against Palermo he was the fastest on the field alongside Iaquinta.
It's very immature also what has been said about Del Piero on the forums IMO. And It's very immature to praise players when they performe good but say they're no more the players they used to be after one bad match.

The pathetic thing here is that same dilemma will be done with Del Piero and Nedved again, people will criticize them If they don't performe 10/10 and will turn them into gods If they show some of their class and ability on the field.

I'm glad I can make you laugh. While I'm glad I haven't thought of Pavel and Del Piero as finished players.

Dp & Neddy have set a high standard which they will always be judged with. If they underperform I will critisize them & vice versa. I still stand by my words that it is time to start replacing them slowly now. Let's not wait until we flog them to death & in the process make them humiliate themselves. I repeat it is not pathetic or immature in anyway.

humiliate themselves? I never heard any Juve supporter ever blast DP or Nedved...they are legends and they still give 100%...if they dont perform sometime doesnt mean we humiliate them, it means we support them, not discard them

You misunderstood me. Yes humiliate themselves by fouling unnecessarily & recklessly, falling over easily etc. Players age, thats a fact & sometimes it's not pretty.
