Not an easy win for us, but absolutely deserved. Overall, I liked most of what I saw, even if the 433 was pretty flawed at times.

Buffon 6 - Fairly quiet evening.
Lichtsteiner 6 - Decent enough, without providing anything special. Reliable guy.
Barzagli 6,5 - Another smart & composed outing.
Bonucci 6 - Held his own quite well, except for a few moments.
Chiellini 6,5 - It's obvious that he's not a fullback, but not a bad game all things considered. At least I saw some of the real defending he's capable of.
Pirlo 6,5 - Often providing options for his teammates. But could, at times, have done a lot better in orchestrating play.
Vidal 6,5 - Useful game, partly because of his tireless running.
Marchisio 8,5 - Except for a few small moments, he really made his presence felt in the middle of the pitch. Oh, and thanks for the 3 points as well, Claudio.
Pepe 6 - Not bad, but lacking in the final third.
Krasic 5 - Didn't do much noteworthy.
Vucinic 6,5 - Did well. Linked up rather nicely a number of times.

Giaccherini 6 - All right.
Matri -
Pazienza -

That was one hell of a collective display from Juve! I really enjoyed the game, though a bit frustrated and the hundreds of chances we missed...

FT Stats:--
Shots: Juventus 17 / Milan 2
On Target: 7 / Milan 1
Possession: Juve 56% - 44% Milan
Pass Completion: Juve 86% - 74% Milan
Corners: 5-5

I think the stats speak loud and clear!

Superb performances from Marchisio, Bonucci, and Vucinic. Bonucci 95% pass completion, 8 clearances, and a block shot. Marchisio 95% pass completion, 3 shots 2 goals and only lost the ball once.

Forza J!! I love Ju.

1.) Chiellini at LB was not bad at all, actually completely U-turned from last game and our defensive line was fantastic with these back 4. Rock solid.
I have to look at these two episodes again and see who was at fault, but Milan's only two chances came from the side that Giorgio should have covered and he wasn't there. In the first half Zlatan was left all alone but Pepe came out of nowhere and made a last minute tackle. In the 2nd half Boateng was left all alone and Buffon saved us.

While watching the game I thought it was Chiellini's mistake, left side was totally empty and he was at the CB spot but more offensively. That was quite poor positioning and it was the only time when I thought we'd concede a goal.

I'm still against playing with 1 striker. Had it ended 0-0 (and there was big chance of the game finishing that way thanks to Bonera and Abbia) I would have blamed Conte for the draw.

We dominated the game, ball possession but we still lacked to create a real danger in their penalty area, Vucinic was isolated most of the times and it took Conte so much to make his subs.

When you see a side playing for a draw like Milan last night, can't dominate the midfield and are in-no control of the game put another striker on and attack them. Conte was afraid and it was obvious.

Against Catania, we played with 1 striker (Matri) and he was isolated as-well. And lets be honest we did look clumsy in the middle specially in the first half even if we dominated.

That said, I lost my voice last night, I danced half naked down my block, I love the grinta, I love Conte I love everyone. Our fans were amazing, Chiellini was a beast, Zingaro choked like usually and Bonnuci didn't fuck up. I couldn't ask for more.

I loved Conte's celebration for the first goal. He is more than a coach he is a fan and a very passionate one at that. :ultra:
That was touching. I love Conte so fucking much.

It was almost a full starting XI for Milan, wasn't it? What they lacked were options on the bench but what they had on the pitch was like 8-9 regular starters.

I hope Nesta is injured forever and ever.
Mexes is almost back anyway. He's not as good as Nesta but still I think he's solid.

Havent been able to post till now so here goes.....

What a FUCKIN WIN BOYS! wow did the lads come out to play last night. Loved it as Azzuri7 posted I as well lost my voice. I am so so so proud of the players and the coaches. They earned huge respect for this victory. I really didnt want that game to end, it was just a beautiful display of football and I really hope the players can keep up that form. We need to dominate the small teams like this but for some reason when teams like Bologna and Catania put 11 players behind the ball we seem to stuggle but forget that for now lets enjoy this win until 2 weeks from now against a Chievo team that we need to dominate away from home. Best moment BY FARRRRRR is Conte celebration when he was facing towards the fans and double fist pumping. Reminded me of when he scored his goals. Thats what we needed a coach who loves the club not a coach who wants the spotlight and a fat paycheque. Iv recorded the game and have already watched it a second time and till probably watch it a few more times.

FORZA JUVE!!!

We literally owned Milan, why such low grades :shifty:
I only gave 1 low grade though

Besides, I'm not someone who goes overboard after a nice win, nor will/would I after a (terrible) loss. Also, the team as a unit was quite impressive, but individually speaking I still saw quite a lot of errors.

The only guy I can think of I'm being harsh on is Vucinic. He really was important, but it bothered me immensely that he did not manage to finish one of his opportunities.

Yep. Chiellini had an overall good game, but I don't trust him at LB. Plays way too narrow, which helps Bonucci obviously but messes up the balance.
