Out of all of our strikers there is only really one that I would back to score a penalty and that is Del Piero.

This is worrying.

Only other team that can take over us in the table is Napoli ATM

Anyway, crap result, crap second half. Positives: Our defence and midfield are getting better and better. Also another clean sheet is good.

Negatives: Shit strikers, crap finishing, and dropping points against crap teams.
Samp and Napoli can leapfrog us

Bologna really fought hard, credit to them, they did not deserve to lose.

Juve players need to be reminded who the fuck they are playing for, this is not Udinese or some other dogshit club.

Well, I said I will forget the shame on Thursday if we win this game but look what happened. The team played well and were able to control the match for almost all the time but damn what a horrible forward line we have and our fullbacks are not helping either.

Storari 6

Motta 5
Bonucci 6
Chiellini 6
De Ceglie 5.5

Krasic 6
Aquilani 6.5
Melo 6
Marchisio 5.5

Amauri NA
Quagliarella 5

Iaquinta 4
Del Piero 5
Martinez 5

I liked Martinez when he came on, he actually took on the defenders, and got past them twice. I think if we play him on the left and Krasic on the right we'd be more successful.

Amauri started well and got into goal scoring positions but then got hurt...which led to our downfall...Iaquinta :sergio:

Defence and keeper were untested.

Our crosses today were so horrible, be it from Motta, Marchisio, Del Piero, Aquilani, De Ceglie

Now we really need a win against Milan, even though its early im worried about the gap that is building between us and 4th.

3 straight clean sheets in serie A is the only positive I can take.
It's extremely worrying that we can't create a single chance without Krasic playing.

:sergio: bologna not a dogshit club? did you watch the game? they were serie B material  but even spain national team may not win against a parked bus in front of the goal.

It's obvious we are dependent on Krasic. But despite him having a poor match for his standards, he still created two good opportunities for us in the first half in which we should have converted. The strikers are obviously bad, including Quagliarella who has very sporadic form, so it looks like we'll also have to rely heavily on Del Piero again.

We also need more offensive production from the rest of the midfield. Aquilani and Melo are solid defensively and spreading the ball around, but I'd like to see some more through balls from the former. The left side of the pitch is wasted considering Marchisio is out there, so with him adding nothing and DC unable to provide much of an attacking threat, it's predictable we would rely heavily on Krasic. We need to have a true winger out left instead, even if it means benching Claudio.

DC might have looked good, but again, he wasn't tested. Neither was Motta. Bologna's counterattacks and overall ability with the ball was the worst I have seen this season from any side in Serie A, so they don't have much to be happy about besides the point. Neither do we for that matter.

Storari - 6 Only tested a couple times
Motta - 5.5
Bonucci - 6
Chiellini - 6.5
DC -6
Krasic - 6
Aquilani - 6.5
Melo - 6
Marchisio - 5.5
Amauri - 4
Quagliarella - 4.5
Iaquinta - 3
Del Piero - 5.5
Martinez - 6

we need guys upfront who can dribble with pace and confuses defences.... unlike what people are saying I do not agree that we need goal getter like inzaghi or trezeguet who simply opportunistic forwards and have no skill /ability to beat defenders at all, we need ibra or henry or ronaldo type of forwards

coupled with 2 competent left wingers (1 first team, 1 sub) then we could have the deadliest attack.

marchi can't cope as winger, in fact I still think he should be tried as a forward/SS
you sounded intelligent until you pulled that out

if they are Serie B material and we could not score against them, then what the fuck does that make us?

imbalanced team :shifty: it's not that we were dominated by them... we simply lacked certain types of players... take out messi out of barca and you'll see them scoring much less goals, perhaps they would drew 0-0 too yesterday without messi, does it make them less in overall quality as a team?
