I say we go for Huntelaar quickly if we get rid of Trez. DP is going to need to be replaced ala Giovinco in a year or so. Amauri getting "older" but not yet "old", same for IQ. Need some fresh young blood.

Huntelaar has never impressed me, Stuggart are getting ripped off if you ask me. Hes about 10 million overpriced. I'd take RVN in a flash though.

:shifty:

RVN is what, 35? Huntelaar is 10 years younger and is the future leader of the Dutch attack, not to mention a cool-as-ice finisher

Stuttgart has a lot of money to spend after the Gomez transfer.

I don't know why Hunter would want to go there though, unless they use some cash for his salary.
Yeah, that would make the transfer more attractive for him. But I think the biggest reason is the WC. He wont be called if he stays in Real and rots on the bench. At Stuttgart he'd be the main man and I think he'd do very well there.

Still, if I were him, I'd wait and see if a better club shows interest.

The perfect young replacement would be Robert Lewandowski.
He's a fantastic striker, Id love to see him play for us.

These videos of random "perfect replacements/talents" are getting old. Most of them end up being total flops anyway. I could make a compilation about Poulsen in Juve and make it seem like he was playing like a God.

Huntelaar sure is overrated. I also don't want us to buy any of Real's waste. But I would gladly welcome a loan, even if it was Heinze.

a valid point, mate...but 'making poulsen seem like a god in the juve jersey' would be impossible.

a very good point.

Then he might as well go back to Ajax if that's the case.He wants to up his game & win trophies, stuttgart is not the club for him or a player of his stature.
But you have to agree that the Bundesliga is more competitive than the dutch league. But also Zaim has a good point. the world cup is coming up and every player in the world doesn't want to miss it.

I know eh, don't you just love the season prior to the WC? :lick:

The only downside being, if you played your ass off all season and won a CL or smth, it can still be easily overshadowed in a matter of 3 weeks lol
