You can like him, but saying he hasnt been worse in Juve then he was in Bayern is actually insulting to him, considering how good he used to be in Bayern, and how barely average he is nowadays now that he has aged quite a bit.

And yeah, its best to be as honest as possible, his good games have been far between eachother (you can recollect if you like, I remember Bologna game, one Milan game, perhaps one Roma game, thats it), and if you check player ratings, he is one of the lower ones.
He wasn't really ever a superstar at Bayern. He was a role player that did his job very well. He comes to Juve and plays 3 times a year (I'm exaggerating) for a faux-manager and everyone writes him of as "past it" or "barely average". That's way more insulting considering he's never been given a chance until recently. He's better than Molinaro and Grygera any day of the week.

we always were...I don't recall ever bashing Sali, he barely plays enough as it is
I know, right?

That's my main point. The guy was good at Bayern moves to Juve and becomes a bench donkey for "Try hard" Molinaro and Zedneck "I left my ability in my other pants" Grygera and people say "well he's past it". Meanwhile Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb are giving goals against the run of play at will.

I was talking about last season, not pre-season, liked his decent outings as LB so far.

Doesnt need to be a superstar, he was a versatile role player, but one who did his job very well and with alot of hardwork. I watch every single Juve game, and Sali hasnt played alot, and thats frankly a GOOD thing, he is there to fill in where its needed as a utility reserve player when there are injuries or such, he isnt good enough to start (and he has played quite enough to clearly show he isnt), and frankly has declined to a stage that he in his most performances except few exceptions, done little right except run alot.

I have NO reason to be biased against him whatsoever, or reason to resent him nor do I barely bash, as a character I like his attitude personality, unlikely some other average players we have. But it doesnt mean I'll accept sugarcoating of saying Salihamidzic is better then he is, he isnt at all. I watch the game with my own eyes, and his majority of performances have been someone who runs alot, but had lead feet and couldnt controll or pass the ball much. Simply didnt hack enough to start, and thats ok, thats not what expected of him, but to fill in ze numbers of the squad.

Stop repeating what I say before you make your point.:D

Are Molinaro and Grygera good enough to start for Juve? I think that's all I need to say.
