For me it's 6/10. We are starting a new project, we have quality, we may improve it even more in January, who knows.

A bit offtopic, but I can't recall the other young player we were linked to yesterday. He had a ex-yugoslavic name, if I remember correctly. If anyone could tell me what it was, I would appreciate it a lot.

I think that's exactly what happened. But IMO we should have waited to sell Coman to Bayern before wrapping up any prospective move for Draxler.

Seems like Draxler changed his mind at the very last minute once Wolfsburg came calling. They offered him more money than we did and he got to stay in Germany. Good on him, hope he fails miserably.

Zizinho is so blessed. He is no naive and gullible. The dude has probably never suffered in life; hence, the blind optimism and strong delusion a la Hustini :D

DP84 and Zach are more dark tho, so I am curious where they get all that optimism from :shifty: :numnum:

Actually, from years I have been researching for things that will improve my health, brain and life quality. I have found out that negativity has no (and I mean absolute zero) good effect on all this things. So, being optimistic and even delusional is healthy, makes your life better and happier and doesn't give you more bad emotions, because when the time comes to be disappointed - you'll be disappionted either way. By being negative or positive

It is your choice to be negative with people, to make them feel miserable, to make yourself feel miserable, to be more neurotic, unhealthy and a toxic person sipping drips of poison in other people lifes.

Sandro (highest quality LB since a long time)
Rugani (very promising CB)
Cuadrado (had an excellent season are Fiorentina and was misused at Chelsea -> wants to prove himself again)
Lamina (probably a talent as I trust Marotta and co and their vision -> loan to see if that's true)
Khedira (very good signing as he is free and a high quality player when not injured)
Dybala (we always cried for some guts from the Juve management when it comes down to the exceptional talents -> this time they did)
Hernananes (good at Lazio, not the first choice because of the deadline, but could surprise us all)
Zaza (good last season, good back-up)
Neto (free and a good back-up)
Mandzukic (Tevez characteristics in the way of high working rate, one of the best headers and good competitor for Morata)

And one of the most exciting things of this transfer period which everyone has forgotten:

Pogba is still a Juventus player and our number 10.

That Juve didn't sell him (even for 120m) says a lot. We are back at the top, both sportive and financially. This year is a transition year which means we have to see how quick they develop. But with this young and talented team we will have a competitive squad for the next couple of years.

It's a 8/10 for me.

Some cons:
- Preferred some more Italian talents because I also love Juventus for delivering players consequently for the NT of Italy. I don't want to be a second Inter.
- Spending 11m on Hernanes or give the chance to one of the biggest talents: Berardi.
- Would have loved to see Darmian on the right, a pity he moved to ManU.
- Llorente for free.... was he that bad that nobody wanted to pay a small amount?
- The sale of Vidal was not the biggest surprise but in my opinion the transfer sum could have been higher. Think there is a reason for this and we will find out in the future -> first choice on Gotze or something (?)
Of course is 8/10 for you cuz It looks like you miss coman 7m loan for two years+allegri asking for a am+5m fee for tevez+decrease our midfield level from WC to good+failed draxler

I like the naive and innocent version. Although I genuinely enjoy and like Zach even if he drives me insane occasionally.

And bro, you just got psychoanalysis rekt by @kao_ray :D

I am only realistic-pessimistic when it comes to Juve tho :D Better to have lower expectations, so when good shit happens you are pleasantly surprised ;)

Kao_Ray is right. Negativity is a waste of good energy. However, there is a difference between being negative and pessimism. I have concerns, and I am not confident in our abilities this season. That is more realism than pessimism. Pessimism doesn't entail negativity, it just means ur more cautious/careful/aware of certain shortcomings. I am pretty positive in life; however, when it comes to Juve I prefer to err on the side of caution. I learned that back in 97, when I was so confident of our victory in the CL final. After that loss, and our subsequent failure in the final the following year, my optimism towards anything Juve related quickly dissipated.

:agree:

And then Nedved and 2003 happened. Bitter fucking tears. Torture losing to Milan in a CL final.

I like to mix optimism and pessimism together dependent on circumstance and situation. But the way this mercato ended I don't get how anyone couldn't feel a little pessimistic for the short term. Reality dictates it.

Buys have been a 8/10?

Mate, when did we ever buy as much quality in one mercato? Ignoring the sales/departures, we've done extraordinary buying no less than 7 proven top class players!! Lemina and Zaza has potential, but they are Juve level signings.
I've docked it 2 points because we've not adaquately replaced the departing players, we didn't really replace Vidal or pirlo and we didn't sign a top class AM despite having 3 months to do so. Apart from Zaza though I've got no gripe against the calibre of players we did manage to sign

This is easily one of the worst mercatos i can remember (apart from the time when we were dragged to B and our team was pillaged) Only reason it even gets a 3 is because we managed to get Dybala who im still not sold on.
