Very hard to rate. We signed a lot of good players, who might proof their worth in a couple of years. Prevalent is the feeling we dismantled a very good team though.

Guys we payed 8m for Zaza. not 18m!
We sold him for 8 and paid 18 to get him so net spent 10M BUT you do know we could have gone for a player worth 10M and that way we would have spent 2M net and not 10M right?
We all know how the deal went but the truth is we could have skip Zaza and save 18M

Sandro (highest quality LB since a long time)
Rugani (very promising CB)
Cuadrado (had an excellent season are Fiorentina and was misused at Chelsea -> wants to prove himself again)
Lamina (probably a talent as I trust Marotta and co and their vision -> loan to see if that's true)
Khedira (very good signing as he is free and a high quality player when not injured)
Dybala (we always cried for some guts from the Juve management when it comes down to the exceptional talents -> this time they did)
Hernananes (good at Lazio, not the first choice because of the deadline, but could surprise us all)
Zaza (good last season, good back-up)
Neto (free and a good back-up)
Mandzukic (Tevez characteristics in the way of high working rate, one of the best headers and good competitor for Morata)

And one of the most exciting things of this transfer period which everyone has forgotten:

Pogba is still a Juventus player and our number 10.

That Juve didn't sell him (even for 120m) says a lot. We are back at the top, both sportive and financially. This year is a transition year which means we have to see how quick they develop. But with this young and talented team we will have a competitive squad for the next couple of years.

It's a 8/10 for me.

Some cons:
- Preferred some more Italian talents because I also love Juventus for delivering players consequently for the NT of Italy. I don't want to be a second Inter.
- Spending 11m on Hernanes or give the chance to one of the biggest talents: Berardi.
- Would have loved to see Darmian on the right, a pity he moved to ManU.
- Llorente for free.... was he that bad that nobody wanted to pay a small amount?
- The sale of Vidal was not the biggest surprise but in my opinion the transfer sum could have been higher. Think there is a reason for this and we will find out in the future -> first choice on Gotze or something (?)

Nice sig btw. I am flattered :D

I hope we have a good season ;)
It's like some people think criticizing this mercato means we want the team to have a bad season.

They don't realize that a mercato where you sell your 2 best players + another starter, and don't adequately replace them, even if we did make some really good signings, well, we have a right to be worried about the upcoming season. That doesn't mean we're not hoping that we're wrong and all these signings become amazing, and we win everything. Of course we want that.

Criticize the mercato and all of sudden we want Juve to fail. :D

6/10

Good AM and it would have been 8/10, without one it would have been 7/10, with Merda prick it's 6/10.

I don't know if this has already been posted, but according to De Laurentiis:

“Juventus wanted Hamsik for €25m, I asked them for [Stefano] Sturaro and [Daniele] Rugani and they refused… they got Hernanes instead!"
Man, if only we had got Hamsik for around 25 mil. That would have been awesome.

we could, but we would also have skipped on 7.5M last summer

I like you Zizinho. Your crazy optimism is awesome.

And I totally agree. Not worth giving those two away. But for 25 mil, if they would have accepted just money.

I have no doubt about the league title. About the CL group stage - I kinda agree that it will be hard, but if we get through, we have a good chance for a better season than last year.
You have no doubt we will win the league? Wow, that's pretty arrogant to say actually. And I'm. It just saying that because we are weaker than last year or didnt optimise our mercato.

Very hard to rate. We signed a lot of good players, who might proof their worth in a couple of years. Prevalent is the feeling we dismantled a very good team though.
Kind of does. Dismantle is about right. Needed a little gradual evolution, and what we got is a bit of an overhaul.

Yes it would've been. But shows just how much we panicked at the end, so Hermanes was effectively not even plan B.

call it optimism, delusion or whatever, i dont know what it is but i have full confidence in this team. im sure we will win the scudetto and reach CL QF atleast. anything more than that would have depend on the draw anyway

Probably the strongest saga I have seen. I think we had a deal, sold Coman and then draxler was sold to wolf. Marotta was played and that's why he was so sensitive when asked about it by bargiggia
I think that's exactly what happened. But IMO we should have waited to sell Coman to Bayern before wrapping up any prospective move for Draxler.

Seems like Draxler changed his mind at the very last minute once Wolfsburg came calling. They offered him more money than we did and he got to stay in Germany. Good on him, hope he fails miserably.
