Insigne, Ljajic, Dennis Suarez or Markovic.
I don't know Suarez, but the other guys are not the sort of player Allegri has tended to look for as his trequartista.

He's always favoured someone there who would be considered a midfielder and the guys you mention are forwards.

And most of them fairly underwhelming forwards at that.

Possible, but there's something fishy about this where nobody seems to be telling the full truth from any side.
Probably the strongest saga I have seen. I think we had a deal, sold Coman and then draxler was sold to wolf. Marotta was played and that's why he was so sensitive when asked about it by bargiggia

I think it was his way for covering for Pirlo as well.

That's also my suspicion. The Coman deal otherwise makes limited sense.

Gave it a 7. Could be a 5, could be a 9. Our signings are (with the exception of Alex Sandro) more or less big question marks. No, Marotta didn't buy any ready made stars, but has he ever? I can only think of Tevez.

If Dybala lives up to his hype then we have the best young attack in the world and with Mandzukic, an all round improved group of forwards. He bought one of Italy's (the worlds?) most promising center halves. Alex Sandro is top full back. Khedira for free! To add, two midfielders who have REAL potential to exceed their market values.

I'm as nervous as the next bloke about this season with so many unknown quantities on our list, but I'm also excited. I think it will come down to mentality more than anything. That winning mentality and team solidarity built up over the past few seasons needs to continue and take hold in this new side. We won titles with worse teams because of a winning mindset.

  :howler: 3 game changers?! Really?! Wow! 10/10 mercato?! If you are being sarcastic, then you had me fooled. However, if you are being serious, then pass on some of that potent delusion concoction you are imbibing. I want to know in which multiverse are Hernanes and Cuadrado game changers?!
I'm serious. But right now every discussion is pointless. Let's wait for the end of the season and see who is right and who is wrong. Do we have a deal?

The Good: Sandro, Rugani, and Dybala, getting rid of Isla and PDC
The Bad: Hernanes, Cuadrado, and Coman's sale leaving us really short/thin in attack
The Ugly: The acquisition of Zaza, Vidal's sale, the charitable donations of Llorente and Tevez

Our defense is potentially stronger with the addition of Rugani. The goalkeeping department is as solid as ever. Midfield has been visibly weakened, as Pirlo provided creativity and free kick expertise, while Vidal was a true warrior and incredibly difficult to replace. Our attack is shorn of the attacking prowess of Tevez (our top scorer for the last two years and best player last season) and lacking any creativity, aside from Dybala.

I'd give our goalkeeping 9 out of 10. Buffon and Neto are guarantees between the sticks. Our defense is a solid 8, as long as everyone can stay healthy. We have both youth and experience, and the likes of Rugani and Sandro only serve to strengthen this department. Our midfield is weaker, and we need everyone to be healthy. I don't like Hernanes, and I'm not convinced by Khedira. I don't rate Sturaro that highly like some (same applies to Berardi), but I expect Lemina to be a pleasant surprise. I am also hoping Asamoah regains full fitness soon, as I feel he will have a major impact playing in midfield this season. I say our midfield is a 7 at this point. Finally, moving onto our revamped attack, I am curious to see how far Dybala will develop this year, as he is our only creative outlet. We are quite thin in the attacking department with only 3 strikers and one SS. If Dybala is injured/suspended we are quite literally fucked. I would say our attack is a 7, due to scarcity of options and lack of creativity. Overall, the squad is a 7.5 and weaker than it was last season. We added more depth perhaps, but our starting 11 is most definitely not as strong as a year ago.

 :agree: You have yourself a deal. End of the season? How about until the winter mercato? :p

Thing is, Zaza is barely a footballer, so he's not worth a bag of peanuts. We should have loaned Matri or whatever "market opportunity" could be had for our 4th striker position instead of spending 18M Euro on that uselss oaf.
Might try reading the post again. That 18m was pre-agreed and as you keep loaning in players, you pay the exact same amount in installments for inferior players...

Yeah, I hope I'll win. :D Actually I know, but didn't want to sound too arrogant. :D
Winning the league again and reaching the CL semis would be awesome. I'd love to be wrong. However, I have a feeling we won't win the league (nothing disastrous tho; we will still finish in the top 3, possibly 2) and will crash out of the group stages in the CL.

Mercato :

Sandro 10/10 (Best LB we could get)

Rugani 10/10 (Best young CB)

Cuadrado 8/10 (For 1.5m it's great deal)

Lamina 7/10 (I think he'll be good)

Khedira 7/10 (Even I don't like him,he is good sign in )

Dybala 7/10 (I thought he is little pussy, but he looks different)

Vidal 7/10 (We should have gotten more than 37,something like 45m would be perffect)

Coman 6/10 (If it's obligation I would rate this sale 10/10 )

Hernananes 6/10 (Okay player he can cover 2 positions AM,Regista)

Zaza 3/10 (Even I know we didn't pay for him 18m,I don't think we need thus guy,I would rather have Llorente)

Lorente 1/10 (We gave him for free :sergio:)

Overall really good mercato , I rate 8/10

I have no doubt about the league title. About the CL group stage - I kinda agree that it will be hard, but if we get through, we have a good chance for a better season than last year.
