Lack of good defenders is too big of an issue for me to give this mercato a better rating than average. Sadly.

Still the best mercato since Moggi.

5: The players we bought are almost all good but our defence was the worst part of the team, how could we not sign a world class centre back? It should have been our number one priority after Lichsteiner!

4.

No real backup. Vucinic is injured we have the same attack as last season. Lich. is injured we have the same defence as last year. Pirlo is injured we are fucked.

Sweet, noone has voted 9, they have a spot open
See, the problem with 9 is that it's way too committal.

If you vote 10 you're obviously just mucking around. Voting 9 makes you look like you actually think we've had a fantastic mercato, and you've given it enough thought to bump it down a notch from 10.

Has anyone ever told you that you're at risk for overanalyzing?

I gave it a 4

We needed a LB, and are stuck with DC and Ziegler....neither can do the job

If Lict gets hurt, we have to rely on Motta :(

Not being able to offload Amauri, Iaquinta, Pepe, and Motta doesnt sit well with me

I'm not convinced by Bonucci (especially on set-pieces), and I have even less confidence in Barzagli

I am hoping Elia becomes our best bit of business in the transfer market, and I have high hopes for Vidal as well

Wow. This is pretty calm for you. What do you think of Vucinic and Pirlo?

A lot of improvement this year, but our goal of 3rd place remains a big question mark.Because of this and because so much hope is lying on Elia's shoulders I can't rate this mercato more than a 5.

An offer of 15 mil € for Alex&Malouda that Chelsea would have surely accepted would have changed my mind completely.

We have Sorensen to play RB over Motta if necessary. We already know who does the job better anyways. Hopefully Conte saw him last season.
