Lets get Vialli. We need someone with a history, someone the players will respect from day one and someone with some fresh ideas. No more fossils. If we can't get the greats like Hiddink and Lippi, lets go for someone new.

Just because he has little experience as a coach, doesn't mean he will fail. He may not be our Pep Guardiola, he doesn't have the players or the resources, but I'm certain the minute that bald head would walk into the dressing room, the atmosphere would rise to another level. We have quality here, but no more spirit, no more fight left in our champions with the coach we now have. Enough is enough. Lets go for charisma and the will to prove himself, not just experience, because experience itself isn't enough, Ranieri being the perfect example.

Forza Vialli.

vialli??
sorry but he hasnt done anything as a coach and he hasnt coached a team for ages
if we are going for a young coach with history it has to be conte

Thats hardly true, in 2 years with chelsea he won the FA cup, the league cup, the Cup winners cup and the European supercup. And that chelsea team was not full of superstars like the one we see today, then Ranieri took over and won nothing!!!

the difference was shown clearly in Chelsea ..
how so? the chelsea that had little money and without qualifying for the CL were going to be in HUGE financial trouble? or the one season with chelsea that abramovic bankrolled and he came second to an arseanal team that went a whole season unbeaten?

sorry V-man but you are talking out of your arse here, Vialli did fairly well with Chelsea but they were still pretty well off back then(in fact it was this splashing of cash that got them into problems later when ranieri was in charge) but flopped hopelessly at Watford when he had to use his footballing brain

oh no,we're DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMEEDDDDDDD:scared:

Don't you think that we're talking about a COMPLETELY different situation? We're talking about a coach who has lost the faith of his players now. The potential of a new manager could be a breath of fresh air for many of the players, and as I mentioned before, there are two very special players who would appreciate the move probably above all the others (Seba, Trez). Have you heard any of the players defend Ranieri lately? Nope, just the BOD.

In the Deschamps situation, the problem was basically between the coach and the BOD. Besides - the team lost those last two games, but had already clinched the title. Not like they were battling to be their very best; it was already mission accomplished.

Here, they have a chance to move up, and earn some $, while reclaiming some pride. No one on our team looks to be enjoying themselves right now. Totally different situation.
No, I think it's pretty much the same situation. We have nothing to gain or lose, we won't win the Scudetto and I don't think there's much chance of Viola or Genoa overtaking us.

And I don't know whether Ranieri has lost the faith of the players, until a player comes out and says it. I think one of the reason players look unmotivated is exactly because they see the season being over, there's no real goal to reach anymore. To the players who have been accustomed to play for the 1st place, 2nd or 3rd doesn't make any difference, esp since both qualify for CL group stage.

i don't hate him but he is not much of a manager, maybe great backroom staff and a good pundit but tactically he is very naive. this would be a backwards step, as hard as that is to believe! but people want him as he was a great player for us,emotions get clouded sometimes when we see a past hero and think of him as a coach.

plus he has been out of teh management game for a while, i want someone whose finger is on the pulse
