The problems in our midfield are obvious. I don't think he means a DMC this time.
But why doesn't anyone from Juve mention the defense? It's clearly a problematic area.
I have never heard somebody at the club mention fullbacks. That's scary.

They'll stick with Canna and probably keep the young Ariaudo at CB.

The ONLY thing I like about Inter is their coach (mainly for this reason i am about to say). Seriously, how often has anyone seen one of our players this entire season (or last) run up and hug Ranieri whenever we score? That happens all the time with Mourinho. They respect that guy so much it makes me sick because I have not seen that kind of reaction from our team towards our coach since I can't even remember when....fuck.

I'm hoping it's because he doesn't want to demoralize an already pathetic back four. It probably wouldn't help their form from here on out; the defenders have to know how shite they've been lately, considering the recent results.

Today he was talking about the lack of quality in our midfield but he didn't say a word about the defense.
Last week he said that he located the problems and he'll talk to the board about it.

Are we going after midfielders again instead of defenders? We won't buy another DMC, will we?
for someone who has been involved in football for 40 years, still doesnt realise all great sides are built from the back amazes me

It would be nice to have a Rosella Sensi type at the club. Not just cuz she is bangin, but to tell it how it is. We have too many panzies without a backbone in the admin section of this club.
well she learnt alot from her father, which is more than what can be said about what the elkann's learnt from their grandfathers

The difference between a close knit group with their coach and a situation like ours is about a 10 point lead in the league with 5 games left with the air on full blast, cruise control...

Turn the radio up, play that sweet song,
Hold me close never let me go.
Keep this feelin' alive,
Make me lose control.

~Eric Carmen, Make me lose control~

Guys if any of you has al jazeera and understands arabic, tune in to al jazeera +1. Altobelli just claimed that rainieri isn't at fault for juventus struggles but the directors of the club, he states that with this team ranieri has done as much as he could, according to him 60 percent of our team aren't worthy of being in a club like juventus. He also states, that lippi is pressuring the board to sack ranieri so they can appoint conte as our coach and then after the world cup lippi is planning on becoming club director.
now thats what i call "insider" news ... lol
i don't know, but reads pretty much like conspiracy theories (the lippi thing)

The coach can be despised by the media and other clubs but what counts is the love from his players.
Pretty much what I was getting at in my post before this. I see no reaction from our team towards CR whenever something good happens.

who the f*ck is running this club these days? the BOD?, lippi? who? as much as i respect lippi and the majority of his choices, but if its true about his influences on the board then it clearly shows weakness in their own thinking as well as the structure of their plans

Do you really belive a coach like lippi/cappello/mou/saf/ would be fired before secco? please.
how can someone fire our board when no one inside the system sees any thing wrong?
you are always talking about "the board" that should get sacked and that is not going to happen ... even not if lippi was our coach !

if you did listen better in school you would now that it is pretty ridiculous to think that the CEO of a company will get choped, before some department chief will get the sack.

I think thats just some media BS, lippi is clearlly has nothing to do with the mess that we're in. And as much as i want to believe it but i don't think that the board will fire Ranieri and am totally convinced that we'll see Ranieri here next season.....

I just watched the film coach carter for the first ever time. I think Ranieri should stick that DVD in and get a few tips of how to be a leader, motivate players etc...

     I just started laughing when i wrote that sentence: Ranieri a leader!!

Some of you like to jest about Spalletti and Prandelli, but they at least have a team and project in mind. They are able to express a certain football philosophy and quite succesfully too considering they have much less recources than we do. Ranieri just strolls along.

Indeed.

Not saying I'd want Spalletti here, however.

I agree with this. From what I'm seeing, the coach has completely lost the team. Where are all of the players speaking out in his defense? NOWHERE. I think that having an assistant coach step in for the last few remaining games would bring a huge psychological boost to this team going forward - time to start a new chapter. I also think that firing Ranieri would specifically benefit Seba and certainly wouldn't hurt the chances of Trez staying with the club beyond this season.

Not to mention that if he's not going to be coaching the team next year, I don't want his influence/input to be present in our mercato. We definitely shouldn't hire a permanent head coach until after the season.
Just like when Deschamps left?
