Don't you think that we're talking about a COMPLETELY different situation? We're talking about a coach who has lost the faith of his players now. The potential of a new manager could be a breath of fresh air for many of the players, and as I mentioned before, there are two very special players who would appreciate the move probably above all the others (Seba, Trez). Have you heard any of the players defend Ranieri lately? Nope, just the BOD.
In the Deschamps situation, the problem was basically between the coach and the BOD. Besides - the team lost those last two games, but had already clinched the title. Not like they were battling to be their very best; it was already mission accomplished.
Here, they have a chance to move up, and earn some $, while reclaiming some pride. No one on our team looks to be enjoying themselves right now. Totally different situation.
