It depends on how the channel (you watch prison break on) choose to share the episodes... What i mean is,
like here in Denmark season 1 is episode 1-16... But thats not the real season, beacuse season 1 is from episode 1-22... Sooo, in USA, season 2 just started and on monday episode 4 of season 2, also known as episode 26...
So you cant be watching season 3 in canada when its not even OUT yet, not even recorded yet.. LOL!

Tell me whats the name of the last episode you watched in Canada, and ill tell you what number episode that is....

yea, you're right, in the uk, on some channels, series 1 was episode 1-12, 2 was episode 13-22, but by most people's standards season 1 was ep 1-22, and the new one "manhunt", was the start of the second season
