#Arrivabene: “The contract of #Dybala was not renewed. The meeting today was a friendly, clear, respectful. From #Juve's part it would have been easy to present a lower offer, but it wouldn't have been very respectful to Paulo. The decision is made”. ❌

[Romeo Agresti]

Arrivabene: "With the arrival of #Vlahovic in January, #Dybala was no longer the center of the project."

Both attempts were in 2019. I don’t recall any credible rumor after that. If you desperately want to sell a player and then don’t do shit for 3 years after that what kind of message it would send?
To be fair, we changed management this summer. The contract renewal and/or sale should have been dealt with before that imo. But at the same time I’m kind of grateful we aren’t burdened with Dybala on massive wages into his 30s.

Definitely as much or more than he deserved. If he refuses such an offer, better to let him leave than offer more.

However we spin it, losing a 28 years old Dybala for free is amateurish.
Paratici alreeady had him packed but dybala refused twice. At least tici had the intention to prevént This circus. Was going to be the only thing tici did good but dybala refused to leave.

It's not just Vlahovic but also Chiesa, and maybe even Locatelli. All 3 of them are better in a 4-3-3 and they are all the future.

They all have to sacrifice to play a 4-4-2 with Dybala (Chiesa further from goal, Vlaho more running to make up for Dybala, Locatelli in defence).
dybala also played a lot in 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1. also, what was the last time juve bought players specifically for one formation? peluso rings a bell lol

plus dybala and vlahovic have a good chemistry. i don't think the decision is purely tactical. in fact i don't think the decision has anything to do with dybala's abilities.

tutto:

Injuries are the main reason for Juventus 'reluctance to extend Dybala € 10 million deal, which has discouraged Dybala and he is saddened by the pay cut in Juventus' new offer of € 6 million.

Couldn’t care less about any player leaving after the last 2.5 years. Reaching 4th place in this poor Serie a and crashing out to tier 3 clubs in Europe will also be achieved without him.

Technical he’s our best player but you hardly see him perform. Paying him 20 mil gross until he’s 34 would also be suicidal.
