Guys, just honestly ask yourselves: when was the last time a significant portion of fans of a big club preferred losing their star player for free than getting stuck with his contract for the next 5 years.

Just ask yourselves if you remember ever witnessing anything like this.
Guys, just honestly ask yourselves: when was the last time a significant portion of fans of a big club made any sense?

Do you understand the meaning of the word significant? It's not a matter of opinion FFS! Significant would be over 50% at least. 18.2% with half of them with clear bias against Dybala does not constitute a significant portion. How the fuck are you a lawyer?
I said significant, not half or majority. Get a dictionary.

No, it really isn't. Statistically, it's a small portion, an insignificant number of people, especially when you consider we are talking about an online forum and fewer than 20 people.
well, that's subjective, isn't it. I say it's significant when you look at it in this context: preferred losing their star player for free than getting stuck with his contract for the next 5 years.

No one thinks that, but he's the best we've got, unless you think Morata and Kean are suddenly going to transform into beasts.

Perhaps you need a lightning jolt up your bunghole Mr. Zeus.
well the three of them are trash , besides since your saying that nobody thinks what I said about dybala well have a look at different fan groups of juventus on any social media platform and you will find that alot of fans still think he is the next maradona and that he will a world class talent if he went to other clup , some members here still believe this too

20% is noteworthy.
it's called the loud minority, especially if they contribute to the majority of posts.

also, literally no one compared dybala to buffon or adp, two of the top5 biggest legends of the club. still, dybala is one of our best current players, and if you need a rebuild, you need to start by replacing the worst players or the ones with the least visible contribution. and if you let one of your best players leave, be sure to come up with a plan to replace him. and unfortunately i don't see any of it, not from the management, let alone the 19% you just called noteworthy.

i said some weeks ago i'd take julian alvarez should dybala leave, but he's probably going to city. i don't see anyone on the market who could be a worthy replacement for less than 20m per season. who would you replace dybala with?

That is the whole issue right there: we think he will become a liability in 1-2 years and a 5 year contract will bite us in the ass HARD.

In the first half, every touch of his was absolutely brilliant, and it needed to be for us to maintain possession. i don't think people realize how much of a relief he is sometimes when he gets played those really difficult balls, and pulls something out of his hat to relief some pressure. We saw what happened when Morata/Kean got played these balls - they lost possession over and over again and it initiated a Milan counter attack. You want Dybala as close as possible to the opposition's goal but at times yesterday he needed to collect the ball 10/15 meters outside of our penalty box, and this season i can't blame him for that.

More than a midfielder at the moment, this team just needs someone upfront who can keep possession for a second to give the rest of the players time to move up the pitch. We'll hopefully add that much needed midfielder in the summer.

Why do we need to replace dybala? We need to replace morata, rabiot/benta, and sandro
cause we don't have anyone left who can create, and unless we have loads of cash or a genius scout (and you know we don't) then our next players won't make our team much better. the players we bought in the last couple of years are mostly terrible, only chiesa and loca (and to an extent, de ligt) stand out, and we overpaid for two of them. look at the rumors floating around, vlahovic/scamacca, some mids like zakaria, zero lb's. we don't seem to have a plan to build a properly attacking squad. next season is going to be much worse if we only rely on vlahovic/scamacca in attack, and we'll miss chiesa too for some time.

We are in a rebuild clearly, and even then had we passable finishing we would still be in contention, efficiency is what we need. That aside, whether we let dybala go or not those positions will need to be addressed. I also am not an adherent of this creativity mantra, someone clinical like vlahovic can more than make up for the occasional sparkle here and there.

When we're already struggling to create chances and have to rely on packing defenses and shit counters all day long, I just don't think it's wise to let Dybala go without replacing him with someone who can create. It's like we're setting ourselves up for the most rigid and north-south 4-4-2 we've ever had. Even if we buy Vlahovic, where is the service going to come from? Cuadrado's leg is going to fall off.
