2015/16 is debatable
2016/17 is debatable
2017/18 is inarguable, he was clearly our best player that season.
2019/20 is debatable

You could argue that Dybala has been our best player in anywhere from 1-4 seasons, depending on one's point of view.
2017/18 and 2019/2020 is not even debatable. MVP @Juve92

And it doesn't make sense to cash in on him now that his market value has drastically dropped like that asshole @Xperd suggests.

it makes sense only if he won't renew.
If by the end of this Serie A season he doesn't sign the new contract we have to sell him or we'll lose him for free

updated his insta profile https://www.instagram.com/paulodybala/ to his Juve picture with armband. This guy is strange either he is really attached to the club or he is just fucking with us fans. If ur so attached then sign a contract u deserve atm, which is nothing more than 7m. I wouldnt stand if we let him go for free, still have much love for him, he might not be perfect, but he is one of our key players for so many years. If we cant get renewal just trade him for someone else this window. just no free transfer please.

Money hoe, dude. He would sell his own mother for some money.

Dybala said this after the match against Genoa:
My agent was in Turin for a long time and was never called up.
“It disappoints me to hear talk of invested financial figures. It would be better if the truth could be told, because talking about those figures in the current situation pits the fans against me, with all the love I have for Juventus,”

Agnellis response:
"I know he has already received a proposal that would put him among the top twenty most paid players in Europe. We’re looking forward to his response, the most important thing is to see his answer on the pitch. We all want him to be one of the top five players in Europe, he’s still not among them and he is aware of it."

You know a player is shit when most conversations around him have nothing to do with his football.

He probably expected this to be his big payday when he ended the previous season, but he has limped into the contract negotiations a shell of the player, in the middle of a financial crisis in football, so he can't expect any movement on the figures.

He'll get more as a free agent going to City or PSG or wherever, but it leaves us in a bad position with an expensive player with no motivation.

I'm just asking because I wouldn't exactly call Ronaldo a shit player. Even if most conversations about him have nothing to do with football.

But that's just me.
Dude, lets not even mention a nobody like Dybala with Ronaldo.

The problem of this club is that its too forgiving to underperformers. Dybala would be out of Real or Bayern a long time ago.

The sooner some football players like Dybala adapt De Bruyne's model of contract negotiating the better. Hire data analysts instead of agents to assess how much you are truly worth. Most honest thing to do plus it removes the need for greedy agents like Raiola dictating the market and demanding his own fee.
Of course however, most players wouldn't like that idea because they're avaricious mercenaries who like to hyper-inflate their value far from what they're realistically worth. Dybala being a good example of that.

The wage structure at the club is kinda fucked up too.
Dybala has been here for a longer time than De Ligt yet the latter earns more. Even if you discount the exception that is Ronaldo, there are many players at this club who earn much more than their worth. Can you really blame Dybala for asking a bigger salary?
Same problems are going to arise when you're going to give double digit figure contract to a 21 year old Donnarumma who still has a way to go to become elite..

De Ligt got offered that salary because the whole world wanted him.

Who the fuck wants Dybala? And why dont they line up for him?

The answer is simple - he is not worth it.

The club, we as fans need to be more demanding, less forgiving.

The club has become a comfort-zone-haven. The club needs to operate as a ruthless corporation, not a family farm showing unconditional love to the players.

Casillas got old and comfortable? Goodbye. James has underperformed too many times? Bye. Ronaldo thinks he's gotten bigger than the club? Arrivederci.

He supposedly asked for 15m net...half of what ronaldo earns net and we all go crazy. Is he being unfair??
new reports saying its even lower, so yeah. "dont believe everything you read" or whatever the crap people like to sing here to other rumors, but in Dybalas case the same doesnt apply.

Bottom line imo: if he is totally unreasonable in his demands he needs to go, if he can find some middle ground and make a reasonable agreement i would keep, mainly because i dont see any replacements for him that we can afford

Agreed.

Although Agnelli himself said that there was/is an offer on the table.
