Di Marzio never said he was likely to stay. He said there is a slight chance if talks fail, that's it. He from day one has been saying United are serious and that they had already agreed terms with Pogba and Raiola, and just the price needed to be talked about with us and Beppe.

Why is selling to United more insulting and like Pogba pissing on our project anymore than it would be to see him go to Madrid?!
Even if it FEELS insulting - him going to United from a rational competitive point of view is a no brainer vis a vie Real Madrid

Vidal was piss poor at some big games (CL final most noteably), and Pogba was great in a lot of important games (see the zizinho post).

Yes, over the course of their seasons here Vidal had more big games than Pogba, but the former was in his prime and the latter was a fucking kid for the majority of it and is now two years younger than Vidal was when he joined us.

This argument is stupid.

Vidal was our best midfielder untill his last season, which he started injured. He grew back to his defensive form, and was vidal in reaching the final. In which he had a horrible game.
'piss poor at some big games' is just flat out lying. You are talking about ONE big game.

Pogba was never 'great' in big games except the Man City game. He was good, but he was never the best midfield player for juventus, let alone carry the midfield.

Your post is stupid. I have exceptionally clearly stated "the quality right now, not in 4-5 years". I'm purely talking about comparing our quality right now. As in right now. You know, right now.
'right now' doesnt give a shit about age. Its about right now.

So yeah, read what you are quoting ffs.

The point was : people say our midfield turned weak now. Absolutely not. The midfield potential, took a hit. But if we get herrera, the midfield quality RIGHT NOW, is just every bit as good as it was.

Its about comparing our chances for a cl the comming season. So its about right now. Not in 4-5 years time. Right now

Got it @Ocelot ? right now.

- - - Updated - - -

Maybe not, but why are we comparing a 29 year old in his prime to a player still developing who is still only 23?!
Plus, Pogba has a much higher ceiling and potential than Vidal.
Thats not the point.

People said our midfield weakens now.

my point is, right now if we get herrera it doesnt weaken at all. it just loses its potential to grow

Some of the posts recently makes it look that we should have even accepted 12 M€ for Pogba just to get rid of his lazy ass that contributed to almost nothing or nothing relevant during those past 4 seasons.

There are so many legit reasons why him going to Madrid is easier to take. I get what your saying about the competitor part but if he goes to united its for fame and money only and that is going to piss a lot of Juve fans off. He will be and should be hated for doing that. Going to Madrid is understandable they are a huge club that have always attracted the best players and are in with a good chance of winning the CL every year. There is also the zidance factor. If he goes to Man united then this shows that he lacks ambition football wise and is a money grabbing $#@!. As a Juve fan I would take it as a huge insult to our club.
Why move to Manchester over Madrid?

1. Work with Mourinho
2. Go back to a club he clearly feels affection for, and knows well. He actually likes Manchester!
3. A few French team mates
4. Who is to say United can't challenge for the CL in 2-3 years?
5. Very competitive league with full stadia every week, unlike in Italy
6. More money, possibly higher wages than at Madrid

I think accusing some one who moves to United of lacking ambition is a bit silly, though I appreciate you're feeling quite bitter right now. And how you feel this is an insult to Juve, I'll never realise.

Well if he does go, which seems likely, I'll definitely be glad to see the back of this annoying thread. One of the worst threads ever. For 2 years in a row now, almost every single page has been about whether he will stay or leave.

That said.... Anyone got any updates? Will he be staying?

He answered some folks on twitter that he could stay. But you're right, if he said that while considering the deal off for a moment there's probably no contradictions.

For me, Pogba pisses on our project either way no matter where he leaves. I feel it's more insulting if he goes to MU because they're a massive downgrade in about every way except money.

I'm asking you right now.

Did pogba ever had the impact in a major game like vidal had at juve ?
Vidal was a big impact player as in he scored or dominated physically routinely at his best. Tho it helped he took alot of pks, but his attitude and ferocious mentality was most key in the imposing presence he had.

But Pogba is more talented and skilled, even if he was less likely to impose himself as eagerly.

But your post was pathetic simply because you are on revionistic overdrive just because we are selling him, Pogba is amazingly complete player, like no other I ever seen before, and he became clutch decisive more and more, the fact he assists like he does and is unplayable on his day is nothing Vidal can do (Vidal is superior in mental/attitude aspect and insane defensive impact). And he started to become more of a threat goalscoring wise. We are losing great player thats only 23, your post was laughable to read trying to diminish that, I loled extra at the part of Pjanic, allways consistent? His drawback in his career has been he dissapeared for half of the season for majority of his career until recently. Allways good in great games? How, when based on what? Excellent at keeping ball under pressure? He is technical, but he is really physically well, and under pressure is not what you want him to be too long. You comparing to Pogba, who is insane beast physically and is his own enemy alone on the ball, since he can become unplayable with that physique and brilliant technique, as in this is guy that shrugs off pressuring players like bees.

Rest of your post was laughable with Khedira, Marchisio and Sturaro  Put together they arent comparable to him at his best, tho Marchisio is alot more important tactically. Tho its a joke to say he is better then Pogba in big games. Same Pogba you take for granted when he has been decisive on so many occasions.

Honestly that post of yours was one of the worst you made, so vindictive and petty.

1. Mourinho is passed it, Allegri is the new italian big name manager
2. United liked to play players out of position before him
3. he has that at juventus too
4. Uniteds player selection beeing grossly inferior to other teams, inability to buy alot domestically, and players preferring madrid/barcelona/bayern.
5. EPL is so weak leicester won it cause some manager used tactics. Juventus sells out every home game, and plenty of away games. And dont get me started on comparing italian vs english football attending females
6. Yes.

Pogba moves to United. A greatly inferior team, several steps down on the way to win silverware at home and especially in europe.
But he'll earn more money then Juventus and madrid offer.

Dont flatter yourself.

I'm beginning to feel like I want him to move now. It really shouldn't be that hard a decision to stay here, unless the pull is money and being on more FIFA covers. We'll do fine without him and keep on winning, can't say the same for him.

It's Raiola who is pushing for this, however Pogba is a pussy for being toyed around with by his agent.

Downgrade in every way?
They have a bigger and better stadium. They have more supporters and worldwide following only second to Madrid and Barca. They pay equally well, and are in a more glamorous league than us. There is a reason the Adidas deal with United is so much higher than either us or Madrid. Their manager is much more high profile in the football world than ours. Not saying better, but more high profile.
Man U will be in the CL next season(not this season). There's no way they don't finish in the top 4 at least with the squad they have.
And there's a certain ego and aura that comes from being the most expensive player in the world. That's something only Man U can afford right now as Madrid couldn't come up with the funds...
Also, you have to realize, he has a special relationship with Manchester. He still has friends there and he has said that it is his first family in a recent interview.
